Sim rig support, wheel, tripple monitors etc

I think I heard something about wheel support on the live stream yesterday.

Have any details around wheel support been released yet?

Also do we know if the PC version will support Sim rigs, including;
• Triple Screens/ultrawide support
• telemetry output to dashboards, transducers etc
• Button Boxes

They said it will be announced in next months.

Some of these should work as it’s there in FM7.

Ultrawide - should work, Triple Screen - not sure, I use AMD Eyefinity to join my 3 monitors so all games work without any need of in-game support, NVidia too has such feature.

Button Box - I use Elgato, it works with FM7 and FH4/5, but there are not many buttons to bind as FM does not have in-car adjustments, no ABS and TC or ERS DRS in this game, just some assists in menu and not features while driving, it’s like a game from 90s.

Dashboard - Should work with Simhub, Simhub gives support for FM7 FH4/5. I hope this time the telemetry is detailed enough for Crew Chief Support which was missing for FM7.

Motion Rigs etc - Not sure as I dont own one, may be, let’s wait for official annoucements.

I’m also excited to get more information about those things. I hope for a bit of ffb improvement, but that’s very subjective. So you need to feel it for yourself to judge.
In terms of telemetry data output i cross my fingers there is no step backwards. But looking at some of the structures already seen (and FH5), i think it will be available this time too. But some more data would be nice.
On top i wish for keyboard support additionally to wheel.

I found that FM7 was kinda weird feeling, I found it very difficult to control oversteer and to build consistency. It just felt off.

This was with both the Logitech G923 and the Fanatec DD2.

I really want them to wheel support right in this new game as it will make or break it for me.

Waiting for onfo on wheel support, button bindings, FOV and triple screen support.

I have reason to belive that Crewchief will not work with the new FM. Turn 10 built their own crew chief. So no asking it questions, or telling it to be quiet.

plenty of us still waiting on this info, some of the thing im eager to find out

FFB improvements? (refresh rate, latency, accuracy,)
steering modes/difficulty? (assisted/normal/sim etc)
auto rotation/soft locking?
gearbox type simulation?
Multiscreen and VR support?
keyboard/mouse input interruption?
device support lists
etc

They’ve already said the physics model runs at 360Hz and there is no VR support.

I’ve seen in other posts that VR support will not be possible, but i’ve still yet to see any official response to the possibility of triple screen setups? How can we be this close to launch and still have no idea on this topic?

I forgot about how touching the mouse or keyboard interrupts the steering wheel on FM7. Yeah… that needs to be banished to the shadow realm. LOL.

Something I also want is better mouse and keyboard control when navigating the menus, painting and making liveries/decals. In FM7 KB&M feels like a controller workaround, which makes painting slow and cumbersome. Since Series consoles can use keyboard and Mouse, allow them to work correctly while painting and navigating the menus.
