Toyota Supra complaint!

Hey

As a Supra fan for years, I have some complaint. Turn10 have claimed to remodeled every car? If that right they forgot the Supra cause it still have those strange wheelarches with jacked edges, when in real life they’re completely round and about some bodykits its weird that for example the TRD kits isnt available. The kits available look fugly IMO. And the sound is closer to a hairdryer than a actual Supra sound, its to high pitched. 1 more thing, it maxes out at 700 hp…?:S, when for example 3,2 litre BMW m3 engine maxes out at 974 hp ingame.

Im not angry cause the game is awesome, I just want the Supra to be a Supra. Im really glad they remodeled another japanese icon, the r32 gtr, and the sound is beutiful and spot on. Shouldn’t be to hard to patch ?

Real life supras

Game sounds Supra

I totally agree on the hp subject a stock block 2jz in real life can handle a 1000 hp and can produce 750 hp on pump fuel if they’re raiting hp on pump fuel wich I doubt they are it’s legit but it’s gonna be racing at a track were they have race fuel that motor was under powered in the last game also at 850 they should give us back 850 or more I agree thanx for posting this problem that needs fixed

Totally agreed. If you watch the Max HP list on the forums, the 2 litre civic engine maxes out with more HP than the Supra… That it just ROFL.

From my non-owner point of view, the Supra looks and sounds good.

The thing is those JDM legends have been tuned and modified for decades, the only chance you have to get a stock model is down at the Toyota museum, I don’t know where Turn 10 got that car from.

I agree. The supra isn’t my favourite car to drive any more :frowning:

The supra is only good now with the 5.7 liter motor which is a shame. I would love to hear this car scream with its stock motor

Actually alot of the cars do not have correct sounds. Most of the hyper cars at idle are low growl… the P1… after watching a top gear episode… I think they have the P1 maybe 60% at best… some are good… others completely sound the same… Real life Ford exhaust notes sound alot different then say GM or Mopar… they dont have that right. I do appreciate that when adding larger cams, you get that lope sound… Finally!! GESUS!.. Still on the fence with F5… they added alot of stuff… but left us with too few tracks to start with, and not enough better wheel selections in my opinion… just same as F3 and F4.

After watching the Top Gear episode myself I thought they nailed the P1.

I never understood forza power figures I’m a nissan fanatic so I love the rb26 atleast it’s max upgrade hp is in the 1000s the thing is the rb26 and 2jz are fierce rivals cause they both have the same crazy hp potential that is in the 1000 range even tho I’m a rb26 guy it bothers me to no end that the 2jz on forza only hits 850 hp with max upgrades when it deserves more and for them to lower it to 700 is crazy both the rb26 and 2jz should have their power potential raised on forza to like 1200 hp even tho the 2 engines have seen figures bigger than that

Totally agree man. One of a list of issues with this game… Forza 4 was 10 steps forward, this game is 15 back.

It’s not acceptable that it only hits 714hp. My buddy has a supra with 1250hp that he drags and it wasn’t that hard to reach that power. Race fuel in this game is like pump gas. I’m so dissapointed. If any motor in this game can reach 1000hp it’s the 2jz. Turn 10 dropped the ball with the supra. I do like the sound more because I don’t like the raspy sound of some supras.

Only slightly on topic but;
I noticed today that in the Supra in car view, the SRS Airbag logo at the bottom of the steering wheel doesn’t move. It’s in the right place while the wheel is centered, as the wheel rotates though, the logo stay floating in the same position! Now I’ve spotted that, I’ll never not notice it again

The TDU car was modded.

They murdered the poor Supra. I’m also not crazy about the fact that they left the Mk III out of this one. :frowning:

This review on a modified Supra should explain how they should work. The 700 HP Titan Motorsports Toyota Supra - /TUNED - YouTube

I think both the stock motor and the 5.7 V8 swaps are more than competitive in A class as is. I like both builds that I’ve done.

However, I was surprised at how bad the engine sound effects were for the stock motor. Definitely more on the hover vacuum side of things (as the expression goes). Turn 10 had it more accurate in Forza 4. I was actually surprised to the point where I sent them an E-mail about it. lol. I usually never send E-mails over such issues but the Supra is one of my personal favorite Imports.

The way the supra sounds is very close to real life depending on the exhaust. My buddy’s sounds exactly the same. I hated the fact sound in the other forzas

Totally agree about the bodykit choices. They literally chose the worst kits you can buy.

Do-Luck, Ridox, TRD, Whifbitz and Stillen are all much better looking as they compliment the stock lines and don’t look so ricey and over the top.

I would love to see a TRD body kit and spoiler along with 1000hp capable 2jz motor. I sure hope they can give us a patch.

They have finally listened to the supra fans! Forza horizon 2 let’s you build the 2jz to over 1000hp!
