I would like to state this clearly to T10 and PGG.
If you want to sell the Forza franchise to many Japanese users, you need to include as many Japanese cars as possible with accurate Japanese specifications. Japanese users who like racing games do not count overseas-spec Japanese cars as Japanese cars. Other game titles that are often referenced when discussing Japanese cars on this forum are able to do this, and so still have a certain amount of support.
In other words, if you include a lot of Japanese cars with accurate Japanese specifications, you can draw them in. If you are serious about selling the Forza franchise in Japan, you need to act immediately.
I partly agree with this opinion.
These days, Japanese Kei cars (like Kei fire trucks) are getting more and more popular in countries other than Japan, and there are many good Japanese Kei sport cars (e.g. Honda S660, Suzuki Cappuccino, Daihatsu Copen).
If Forza add these Kei cars, not only Japanese players but also players in the world will be pleased!
However, I have been playing Horizon series (the casual one), and have never cared about accurate specifications (I’ve got Honda S2000 AWD edition by upgrading parts in FH4 ) . Maybe adding “Original Japanese cars” is not priority, but more Japanese car manufactures should be added to Forza series, in my opinion.
I understand that it is difficult for the developers to make contracts with car manufacturers, and that it is also difficult to secure the actual cars to be included. However, the fact that they do not have a modeling base in Japan to date makes me feel that they have no intention of selling Forza in Japan. I think they should make it easier to access the Toyota Museum, Zama Nissan Museum, Motegi Collection Hall, etc.
