Tire wear rate differences?

I got a question regarding tire wear. I am new to Motorsport, and I’m wondering, why do tires wear out in Multiplayer much faster than Singleplayer? And if there is any way to change tire wear rate for Singleplayer?

In featured multiplayer is a “secret” multiplier for tire wear.
You can not choose something like this in private multiplayer or free play.

There are already suggestions for that. Please support those.

Tire wear multiplier for private multiplayer

I’d like a multiplier for tire wear (and fuel) in the private multiplayer options. Featured multiplayer got that (forza touring cars).

Settings for tire wear and fuel consumption in race setup

Currently tire wear and fuel consumption is the same for all free play races, either on or off. You can’t set how fast you want tires to wear or how long fuel lasts. This is needed to allow you to properly setup custom races where pitting is a big part of it.
