Timed race payout vs lap race payout.

Just wondering if the timed races in freeplay pay out the same amount of credits as a standard lap based race for the same distance driven?

If they do I’m thinking a 4 hour race around Dayton or IMS in a really fast car would be the best way to use my VIP mods.

It depends how many laps you can get in those 4 hours. If you can get more laps than with the 50 lap race that would be the way to go. If you can get more laps in timed races then I would assume that way would net you more credits.
