I did a little research on how to get the most of my last vip mods. I want to do more laps on the oval, thus 50 is the limit. I thought of a timed race, which I did before the last update. I set an hour, raced, everythings fine. Now I tested with a few minutes, if all is good, but now, after the update, I didn’t get the 100% from the drivatar difficulty.
Is that normal, or a bug? It’s only on timed races, when I set 50 laps the difficulty counts.
Anyone?
Are you using Super Easy assists or a rental

No, I drive without assists in my own cars. The regular payout is alright, only drivatar difficulty doesn’t count. Mod cards count, too.
Could at least anybody say, if he gets drivatar difficulty payout on timed races? I only want to know, if thats normal.
I did a 1 hour race yesterday as a cash grab and do not recall a difficulty payout. I only remember 140k for race and 160k for mods. I raced with no assists and unbeatable difficulty.
Thank you so much. Then it seems to be normal. Though I don’t understand, why they did that. I just want to do longer races for higher payouts, or do fix timed races to know the end for sure. No sign of exploiting here. As I said, it WAS possible before the update.
For some reason in the past few weeks difficulty & assist payout can just disappear. had it in whole round of champs on Pro level with only ABS and free race quite often so it is hard to tell where it is at. I think others have mentioned it too on the forum here.
For me it only happens in free play timed races, but consistent.
It’s a bug, you’re still supposed to get the payout

Just did a 20 min time-limited race and same problem : no drivatar difficulty payout.
It’s been almost a week or so but I didn’t have any issue with running timed races. I did 2 hours on Mugello and 1 1/2 hours on Long Beach last Wednesday and got full payout. I can test it when I get home from work in a few hours to see if I have similar issue.
I can confirm that I did NOT receive a drivatar difficulty payout on any of my timed freeplay races over this past weekend or the one I completed last night, before the latest patch. As a test, I did get the payout running the same car/race settings except 50 laps versus 21 minutes (IndyCar - Homestead Oval, for both)
I did a 4 hour marathon on Daytona a couple of weeks ago and got nothing for drivatar difficulty. Mod cards, VIP bonus, and FE car bonus all worked fine.
On X1X, did a 45min timed race on Watkins Glen this afternoon to test this out. Base pay, VIP, FE car, and mod bonus paid, but no difficulty bonus. Unbeatable difficulty, only assist was the braking line. This is the first timed race I’ve done in freeplay, so I have no idea if it’s ever been different.

I ran some timed races today and got the driveatar difficulty credit bonus on them. Maybe fixed with the last patch?
edit: My races were anywhere from 10 mins to 1 hour
How long were those races?
I have never received the difficulty bonus for timed races and I have completed a lot of them I run with no assists and unbeatable drivatars.I have completed just over 2000 races a lot of them in free play timed events.
Yeah, that’s why I stopped doing them.
My usual money making routine is 50 Laps Daytona Indycar against unbeatable Driveatars. That takes up about 30 minutes and I can watch TV series/documentaries at the same time (The Punisher last week)
I would love to ramp this up to 1-2 hours but the missing difficulty credits put too much a dent in the payout.
