Thrustmaster TX Wheel settings XBoxOne

Has anybody good settings for the Thrustmaster TX Wheel for FM7 on XBox One?
I become no feeling from surface or track and i have tested several settings - thx

I’d like to know as well, I like the FFB this Forza though.

I turned force feedback scale down to 60,it sucks because I like the sting feel but I think the motor in the wheel can’t take it and burns out. Complete guess I might be wrong but with weaker feedback it’s more consitant.

I had the same problem. I actually thought my wheel died but it just overheated and needed to cool down. To fix this issue I set the wheel to have the fan on all the time. It can be annoying as the fan is loud but I just crank up the sound bar or put on my headset and I can’t hear it.

If you already know about this you can disregard me, but if not here is how to do it…

Posted this on another thread. I’ve been logging settings for all wheels and have to update my spreadsheet again when I have more time.

Here are EpicEvan’s settings. TX on Xbox One
Vibration Scale = 80
Force Feedback Scale = 79
Wheel Rotation Angle = 360
Force Feedback Understeer = 129
Force Feedback Minimum Force = 136
Wheel Damper Scale = 38
Center Spring Scale = 50

Mark Races posted this on 9/20: TX on Xbox One
Vibration Scale = 35
Force Feedback Scale = 35
Wheel Rotation Angle = 900
Force Feedback Understeer = 140
Force Feedback Minimum Force = 120
Wheel Damper Scale = 0
Center Spring Scale = 0

Try both of these. You can also change settings during the race to see how they affect the feel.

Thx - i will try both of them

Both of these settings are not driveable… the wheel doesnt fels like an wheel - no surface feeling - whoobling at the deadzone

Wish I could help more but I don’t own a TX. I use a Logitech wheel. Try using settings that others posted for different wheels. Some of the settings I have started with settings people posted for Fanatec wheels. Also to get a feel for what each setting does set it at both extremes and note the difference. Try bringing FFB down and then bring it back up in small increments till it feels right. Too much damping will deaden the wheel. Too much center spring will cause the center spring force to override the others.

I am putting one on my channel as soon as I get home. Corn Wolf on You Tube.

TX user here. See my posts in the ffb thread…

Anyway, after hundreds of changes, this matches my fm6 feel:

Vibration — 95
FFB Overall — 20
Minimum understeer — 20
Linearity — 50
Minimum ffb — 100
Damping — 30
Centering Spring — 0

Do not put the Damping below 15, the wheel starts oscillating wildly. Thought I was gonna break my wrists until I sussed this

The force feedback on the wheel is extremely rough around the edges. FFB Minimum Force doesn’t work properly, lateral load of the front tires is a little bugged. The self aligning torque is kinda there kinda not. The centre spring is also dynamic, remember that.

What Kdogg788 said is pretty much bang on but I’d is also say don’t run 0 dampening or 0 centre spring. 0 dampening will cause the car too oscillate way too much and wobble if your FFB is too high and 0 centre spring will make the FFB understeer feel like it’s pulling the car round the corner if that’s to high. Just my 2 cents.

Edit also if this helps, My Degree of Rotation I run depending on the car.

900° almost any road car such as McLaren 650s, Ford Focus RS etc

720° Drift cars and Track Day toys such as Caterhams, Hoonicorn

540° GT cars, V8 Supercars, Early GT Cars such as MP4-12c GT3, Ford Falcon V8 etc

360° F1 Cars, LMP Cars such as Renault R.S.17, BMW V12 LMR etc

For DOR, I found that 630/660 work best for me. Starting at 690/720 the wheel feels much looser but it is hard to recover from slides. The recovery FFB and function seem off. Setting DOR low feels twitchy and arcade like almost like the game is not meant to be set low. It’s all personal preference and why one setting might work for someone but feel way off to someone else.

That’s where the dampening and centre spring come in for me.

Lower DOR = less Dampening
Higher DOR = More Dampening
At least that’s how I do things

Hi guys,

I posted my wheel settings in the thread: FFB, is it fixed? Post #1363

Thrustmater TX Settings for XBox

Hi there,

I would like to post my wheel settings. I played the demo of Forza 7 and was unsatisfied with the ffb. I like the ffb of Forza 6 and tried to get similar ffb out of Forza 7.

So I spent a few couples of hours with the new game driving the Aston Martin DBR9 especially on the new track Mugello & Prague. Please leave a comment if you like it and if you have improvements. Thanks!

Thrustmaster Control Panel:

Overall Strenght of all forces: 70
Constant: 100

I’ll try to post my settings later tonight. I’ve been having alot of fun using a Thrustmaster TX leather edition. It’s nowhere near as good as AC, PC2 or F1 2017, but it’s definitely more fun with a wheel than a controller.
