I recently bought the Thrustmaster TX. Before using it on Xbox I plugged it into my PC to upgrade the firmware and check the setting. I’m running Windows 7 Enterprise 64b. I downloaded the latest drivers from Thrustmaster.
Windows recognizes the wheel as “Thrustmaster FFB Wheel” in device manager. The Firmware update application shows v45 firmware and does not allow me to upgrade to V49. What can I do to get Windows to recognize the wheel as Thrustmaster TX and what can I do to get the Firmware to upgrade properly?
