Thrustmaster TMX Wheel for Xbox One and Windows

Hi all, I just got my Thrustmaster TMX wheel and it works with the Xb1 and PC. It works perfect with the driver installed on PC. But when I plug it into the xbox, I can’t move through the home screen, I don’t have any Xb1 controllers since I smashed my last one. I had to plug in a keyboard to launch FM6. From there the buttons on the wheel worked and I could navigate through the menus of the game. But when I go into test drive mode with my BMW M3 (2005). The steering doesn’t work, the pedals don’t work. The paddle shifters however do work. and I can pause and all the buttons still work in the menus. Am I setting up my wheel wrong?

EDIT: Like I said in the post, I smashed my controller, is a controller required for me to sign in and for the xbox to fully accept the wheel? The wheel itself does have a layout that fits an xbox controller (A,B,X, and Y) as well as the D-Pad, withe start and double square button. I hope I don’t have to spend another 30-60 dollars for another controller.

It sounds like you may need to update the wheel base but if it’s working on PC then you must’ve already done it. Have you tried hard resetting your console ?

In Xbox maby settings menu, Devise and Accessoires, Wheel connect, select to someone, not only Wheel. I had also problem with an Fanatec Wheel base 2.5.

Use the Xbox app on your phone

I have, but the wheel still won’t work right with the xbox.

Ye with windows smartglass you can use Your phone as joypad
