Make sure to update the firmware to your wheel, v20 released this week I believe.
Anyways I was on an older version and upgrading made quite a bit of difference in overall feel and FFB strength.

Do you have any recommended settings for the TMX?
I’ve only just got round to upgrading to V19 last weekend
Started playing today (finally), and the default settings felt like driving a pre-power steering jeep.
I can see it’s going to take a while to work out some usable settings, because so far I can’t feel the curbs at all
I found this video did help a lot https://youtu.be/PN5gwRvI9eg?si=Jrw-BlgzRM-kWGP-
A lot of tinkering and I’ve settled on these settings. Not sure if they’re good or not but they feel ok to me.
Let me know what you think.
All assists set to off. Steering sim. 900dor
If you want a bit more feel with break skipping or in a slide raise the vibration scale 70ish.
Same with road feel. 130ish.
There’s obviously a lot personal feeling in this stuff. Here’s my current settings

Will give your setup a go later tonight. ![]()

Ran your setup for a few days and I quite like it. Gives overall better control of the car and feel when it’s on the brink of under steering.
Tweaked the FFB scale some to my liking other than that it’s all yours.
Great job.
Thanks. I tried yours, and a couple of other sets for sim wheels, then just started tweaking values. I think I might end up making some minor adjustments, but that’ll just be trying to get it exactly right for how I drive.
Still can’t feel the curbs though, which appears to be a problem with the game as I’ve seen that complaint from people with various different wheels.
Yeah, I get the rumble for a curb (but not all of them) but it does not pull the wheel they way it should.
FYI, I’ve posted this in other threads.
Having your controller on along with the wheel can introduce issues. This goes back to FM7. I restart my SX and only run my wheel at startup to make sure no issues arise. I do have no breaks from time to time which I have to unplug the wheel to fix. Not sure if that’s just my wheel?Getting time to upgrade to something better ![]()
I have noticed with my TX that all the RWD cars I have driven are great, and all the unsafe old bangers like the stock Peugeot 205 (which by the way is super fun) also feel good.
But with all safe, moderns FWD cars and racing FWD I don’t get the loss of traction feel on the wheel at all. Have you noticed that?
