thrustmaster 458 italia what a _ _ _ (fixed the profanity)

I just received my wheel yesterday. I even paid extra for rush shipping. Well i unbox it put it together then update the drivers. Hook it to my xbox one and do one race which wasnt very impressed with the wheels performance. Could be due to not having the setting right yet. Shut my system off to eat dinner then i research how to adjust the setting for the wheel. Fire my system up and the wheel wont turn on. Try resetting my xbox ones usbs nothing happens try hooking it to my computer. Wont even register. Tried calling their customer service during their business hours get a message saying they are not currently open. Try emailing them no reply.

So i just paid 299 for a wheel that works one time and has crappy customer service. Good thing i bought it at walmart and willing be returning it shortly. I had read the reviews and knew there was a chance of having issues but figured the the only people that would spend the time to right the reviews were the a limited few that had issues. This is the second ffb wheel i have owned and the other one i had was the old logitec for ps2 and gran turismo 4. It had no issues and still works to this day almost 8 years old.

Any suggestions before i return it?

I had a similar issue with my wheel not registering, then two hours later after several attempts on the xbox and PC it came to life. Hasn’t been an issue since. Make sure you’re power cycling the wheel in between tries, and for funzies try a different usb port on the PC.

I tried all of those suggestions tried other computers no luck. Tried to get hold of their customer service for 3 days and they where never open or did they reply to emails So fed up with the experience i took it back to walmart and got my money back.

So my advice for all prospective owners on one of these wheels is by it at walmart because the offer a product protection plan incase is breaks down the road some where and they are also easy to return the wheel to if it breaks first day you have it.

Emailing their customer support doesn’t give you access to support unless you have registered the wheel on their support site and then raised a support request using their form,

Surprised you had difficulty with their support line - they were pretty responsive when I had an issue with my TX, they replaced it despite not being obliged to because the store I bought it from sold it to me for less than TM allows.

Anyway you’ve got your money back, so no harm done.
