Newbie here,
just started playing the game with automatic tran on and racing line assist on.
why does throttle cut out when you are off the suggested driving line? is there a way to set game to have throttle on where ever you are on track.
Frustrating that being off the ideal line by a car width kills the throttle. You can’t even pass cars on a straight if they are on the line.
tried game without assist on and manual transmission, throttle still dies if off line.

It sounds like you have braking assist on. If you turn this off I have no idea why ur throttle is cutting out.

went to ABS on, a lot more fun with speed, passing, oversteer, etc
now my left trigger finger is sore trying to get use to the braking technique.
oh well, back to training, no pain, no gain!
You have assisted braking turned on, guaranteed. Go to the assists screen and either change braking to ‘ABS ON’ or ‘ABS OFF’ to have full control of braking and throttling.
