Multiplayer League Hoppers
January 24 through January 31
Use this thread to share tips, car suggestions, and experiences.
League leaderboards are ordered by points which accumulate from all your played sessions during the week.
Points per race = finish position inverted + bonus for finishing higher than players with a higher skill rating. See the League Info thread for explanation about skill rating and Division placement. Credit payouts for each division are awarded based on the leaderboard after the League has reached its end date.
See ManteoMax.com or KudosPrime.com or this thread for a list of cars by Division. Unless otherwise specified, Leagues use Damage=Cosmetic, Collisions=On, Tuning=Allowed, Upgrades=Allowed to the maximum of the specific class restriction. Cars must be currently configured to meet the lobby restriction to appear as available options in the Rent/Buy/My Cars lists, so the list of Rental cars may be limited or zero.
Special: Players in the top 50% of each division in this league will be gifted a unicorn car, the 1971 Ferrari 312 P, on or after January 29. This is the final week of the Can-Am League, but future opportunities for the Ferrari are coming. See 1-22-16 Week in Review and discussion thread. Japanese Sport Kings

After an hour of racing tonight I can guarantee that Street Kings will be a fun League to race in. The racing has been very close and clean so far in Pinnacle; almost everybody’s using the S2000 but as with the Alfa 33 a few weeks ago it has lead to some good battles on-track.
The most interesting part about this league is deciding whether to work with someone or to pass them. As running side by side is so slow, it seems that pushing someone along and working together until you reach a proper passing zone is much faster.
Gonna need to make some friends that’ll work with me
Since forza 6 is battle cars, I will put anyone into a wall that:
Uses my bumper as a brake
Turns there wheel out in a turn to force me off
Dive bombs a corner using me as a shield
Cuts the entire track width to block me from passing.
I don’t care if you like it or not, I’m not here to win in the clean setting of TRUE racing. I’m sick of having the fastest lap times, podium finishes left and right, only to end up 21st because forza a has absolutely zero regard for clean racing .
You’ve been warned, as well as a Giant white “I hit back” sticker on my car
Cheers
Had some massive fun today in the Japenese Street Kings league! It was like playing FM4 all over again. Had a bunch of racers in the room party up so we could use voice chat, what an amazing difference it makes to be able to communicate during the races. We could call out the dirty racers and avoid them, as well as apologize if we had too much contact. Really fun time:smiley:, I wish it was the norm for FM6.
This has been the cleanest League so far, very close racing all-round in Pinnacle. Although the majority are using the S2000, there are still big differences in how the car can be built, with some focusing more on acceleration than pure grip.
The top drivers are not only super fast this time round, they’re super consistent. I can usually beat them when they trip over each other but so far many of the forerunners have been bullet-proof.
Once I finally found a tune I liked, the racing tonight has been some of the best I have ever experienced on FM6. Shame Jonk didn’t join us as he would of appreciated the fast clean racing.
Due to the racing being so close having the right tune is even more crucial.
It was a great day of racing for sure! Here’s a picture of myself leading the field into turn 1 (For once). Still getting the grips of these cars but I like where my tune is at and I look forward to battling the EMW guys more consistently tomorrow.
