This Week's Forza Leagues: B600 Sim | C500 Ghosts (AWD) | S800 Birth of the Supercar

I was racing and watching the 24 at the same time, nearly parked up when those Corvettes decided to battle each other to the finish.

Not often I see my own car beat me too, you did well with that Mazda.

First session has gone rather well, scored multiple wins and podiums and ended on top of the boards:

Is there not going to be a second option for a non ghost league for the lower ranked drivers this week? S class or nothing?

Something I think need addressing in the sim league is the really short tracks, mainly because it’s to quick to catch the people at the back who have damage, which tends to mess with the guys at the front because nearly nobody moves out the way to let them through, resulting in many hard fought races being ruined, and I’m sure one of the short Rio tracks doesn’t have any pits.

Overall I really enjoyed the sim league tonight. I had some epic battles against Rich J 81 & Lockeye. Around Laguna Seca I was 50ft behind Lockeye for all 8 laps and not once did we make any contact. I didn’t pass him either!

The night did finish on a negative note when some idiot smashed into me on the 1st turn on lap 1 around Long Beach full. This probably wasn’t intentional but some peoples awareness is very poor.

Didn’t play much today because the 24 was such an awesome race, but when I did my little Miata ripped. It was nice to just show up and race using a car that I had previously had in my garage, although I need to sort out a high speed car for tomorrow.

Off to a good start.
Honestly the Rio mountain course must be in there as a joke,
I got half a lap before being shown the wall. There was also a very badly injured and angry llama on the track. Accepting your fate and making the most of it is the way to go.

I’ve noticed a lot of transmission damage with some tunes. It’s definitely the tunes as one of my s2000s has the issue and another doesn’t. Any ideas what the difference is?

Edit: there is no suggestion here that the guy with the angry llama gamer tag was crashing into anyone. We were both limping around at the back badly damaged.

Haha, I saved that race. Epic how you were on me the whole time. Can’t believe I didn’t put a tire wrong the whole race and kept you behind me. I was sweatin’ bullets.

Had a couple of bad races but overall it was pretty good. Definitely liking the extra laps.

Some great racing in Elite too early this morning, though lobby was a bit empty at first. Also great to see Monza back which I won by just about half a lap thanks to PJTierney’s MX5 tune. The increase in number of laps is also great. Will see how it goes when the masses start to move in.

Early supercar in professional was an utter disgrace last night. As much as I want to race in the sim league, I’d rather wait and hope I can fluke my way through bad driving enough times to be promoted to elite.

If you’re fast enough, why not try the ghost league, that way you could get some strong finishes and perhaps get promoted before the week’s out, if you do get promoted to elite the sim league will become available.

I tried Elite Supercar tonight, and I think all the wreckers have moved from the hoppers to the leagues. Won’t be venturing back to the leagues anytime soon.

The SIM Racing Leagues have been the best racing I’ve experienced in Forza. The longer races are fun and I’ve even limped into the pits a few times for repairs. I hope that Sim continues to be an option in future leagues. Well done T-10.

I agree, had a blast yesterday. I’m still in Elite Series, but this was some of the cleanest racing I have had yet minus the two leagues I am in. I was wrecked a few times, but more often than not, the person waited for me to get ahead of them again… Nice change!

I was also in supercar professional…
Lobby was a war zone! I received 2 messages during session about my crashing… but it was drivers behind me barreling into turns! I finally grew tired of the beat down and left lobby.
There was one guy in session who won EVERY track… he was knocking EVERY car in or near his path to the front…and cursing anyone who resisted his rath…
Most horrible experience of all Forza titles to date! Out of 24 drivers, about half were bashing and ramming!
Apologies to anyone I may have been pushed into…

You’re not the only person who’s had this experience. Last night was insane.

I spent some time tuning a handling focused, stable, easy to drive F50 to minimize the chance that my mistakes would negatively impact others and I still couldn’t get around the track, but it doesn’t help when people are either purposefully ramming people or simply racing a car that’s faster than their ability to handle in traffic. Long Beach and Rio feel like a cruel joke with a full lobby.

Today was a little better. I actually managed to get around the turn 1 hairpin at Spa without getting punted to last place.

Still, apologies to anyone whom I have negatively impacted in a race. Know that I won’t pass until after you’ve gathered yourself, if I’m at fault.

I did the same, spent all day Saturday not racing in the ghost league as I usually would, and tuned a very nice, all round F50 because I was excited for this league. Had probably 20 races and my best finish is 4th, only because I managed to fluke my way through the carnage and make up some good ground. All the rest except one I’ve been smashed all over at turn 1, usually end up at the back fighting to get past sloppy drivers who are impossible to pass clean. One thing I’ve noticed about most of the sloppy drivers is they tune for speed. If I ever do manage to pass someone at the back you can almost guarantee they’ll come flying up behind me and either punt me into a wall on a straight, or try following my braking point and shunt me off into a corner.
Really struggling to keep my patience with this league, which is a shame.

I have run Birth of the Supercar League. I had some great battles. There was some light contact here and there by myself included. I followed Jonki for almost a whole race looking for an opportunity to pass. In the end I ending up tapping him and sending him off track slightly. I slowed so he would keep his spot and lost mine to the driver that was behind me. Lost a place but, it was the right thing to do. I did get knocked about on LeMans Bugatti. Asked the two drivers what the deal was via Smartglass. One said something about his spit cup dropping and the other claimed he was trying to race. Both seemed intentional as I was hit very far off track both times. I let it go and had good races there after. Overall I had a great time.

I’ll be heading to Sim League and I encourage anyone that wants clean racing to do so. Hopefully it will stick around if there is enough participation. I have not run B Class in a while so I think I will try some other tuners’ cars. Probably PJTierney’s to start. I love Mazda’s Miata, the RX7 and RX8. Can’t go wrong with an S2000 as well.

Hope to see you on the track.

So because I’m only in the Professional division I’m out of luck for the B class Sim league. That sucks. My buddies all think I drive too clean. Guess my money’s not as good as someone else’s.

+1 for Sim league in Elite. Could have just been a clean group last night but it was some of the best racing yet. Thank you T10.

Did have some funny issues in the first race though where cars were ghosting even on the straights. I watched a few people drive though each other then it seemed to stop - right as I late braked on someone and they got punted off - has anyone else seen this happen? It wasn’t lag as the cars weren’t jumping all over the track.

I think the longer lap count makes a big difference as you can take a bit more care through first few corners and then try and make up time or as cars in front make errors and run off the track.
