Multiplayer League Hoppers
January 31 through February 7
Use this thread to share tips, car suggestions, and experiences.
League leaderboards are ordered by points which accumulate from all your played sessions during the week.
Points per race = finish position inverted + bonus for finishing higher than players with a higher skill rating. See the League Info thread or FAQ for explanation about skill rating and Division placement. Credit payouts for each division are awarded based on the leaderboard after the League has reached its end date.
See ManteoMax.com or KudosPrime.com or this thread for a list of cars by Division. Unless otherwise specified, Leagues use Damage=Cosmetic, Collisions=On, Tuning=Allowed, Upgrades=Allowed to the maximum of the specific class restriction. Cars must be currently configured to meet the lobby restriction to appear as available options in the Rent/Buy/My Cars lists, so the list of Rental cars may be partial or empty.
Sim League This league is only open to players in the Pinnacle and Elite divisions.
Hmmm…no indication of any way to win the '77 V8 Vantage. Maybe the car’s hidden in one of the “buy car” sections within the new league lobbies? We’ll see I guess.
FA, as RBW Triton said, separate since each division uses its own leaderboards and players only see one division per league in the menu. From our perspective we think of there being only 2 or 3 leagues each week, but from T10’s perspective there are 10-15 each week:
On the Vantage, the Ferrari 312P and Can-Am League weren’t announced until the Friday after the car was added. Tuesday would have been the expected date for the content update, so maybe we’ll see an announcement next Friday.
YESSSS!!! I was looking at the divisions and thinking I have not tuned any early Supercars. I was hoping the next tuning competition or League would use that division. Would have liked it to be the Sim League but this is great too. Hmm choices… I really want to race early Supercars but I am also ecstatic that Sim League has returned! Awesome choices T10! Thank You! And thanks for the post Max.
Thanks ManteoMax and RBW TRITON. Makes much sense that way. Look forward to see what the “first corner approach” will be like now with this being SIM.
Gonna be torn this week between the SIM league and the Supercar league. Usually prefer the faster classes, but the SIM might just be the recipe to improve order.
Thanks for all the info and bringing new initiatives.
I’m really looking forward to racing longer laps. It’s gonna make racing so much more interesting with tyre wear playing a part.
I thinks it’s a good idea to start in B class, people should be able to control their cars a bit better and it’ll be easier to get used to damage being off. I am massively looking forward to the higher classes though, should make for some great races.
If anyone needs a car/tune for these, I have 2 that I use on almost every B/600 circuit online, an S2000 as an all-rounder and a 2013 MX-5 for speed tracks. Both are easy to drive and capable of Top 50s in the right hands.
I used this last night in a couple of B class hoppers and it really excelled at Sebring and other medium tracks that don’t totally rely on top speed but need strong acceleration and easy and nice enough handling.
I’ll be using the S2000 for perhaps more handling oriented layouts.
See a few posts stating making a choice between Supercar and Sim. I overlapped the Sim League more so with the Ghost League so you should be able to handle both Leagues. I figure since Sim is the Anti of Ghost League it won’t conflict.
Should be fun. At the end of the day the numbers will tell where Sim goes from here. Have fun and yes it will jump up a little faster if it gets used.
