Think long and hard before you tackle the endurance races.

Unless you are prepared to put it down to practice with no reward the current state of the game makes it nearly impossible. Seeker Nuri ring 4 goes then finally got it and the last couple of laps was stuttering so much I thought it was going to go again. Breakout Spa 100 3 laps > Start again 8 laps > Start again > 7 laps > Give up. Hopefully, they fix this soon as it is taking the gloss off what is otherwise an excellent game.

I did the super long race at spa which is 69 laps with no issue.

Are you console or PC?

On PC. While there is plenty you can do in FM7 on PC the endurance is for ppl with no life, sitting home sick or at work like me passing time while the boss thinks it is research. Love the game but by golly, it needs some adjustments. I went to FM 6 and did all the tracks and you can concentrate on racing and not each time there is a frame skip etc is it going to survive LOL

Same for me but the 24 lap long race no issue Xbox One though

Yeah, the crashing issues definitely have me holding off on these.

I’ll be waiting for an update or 2 before trying out Spa.

1 hour Blancpain race at VIR, not a showcase but extra long cup race. Best single player experience I have had in a looong time! With mods earned 700k and 4 cars, which also felt quite good. The Merc was incredible, I even tried it with abs on and tcs on because they have some amount of abs and traction control in the real cars. It felt almost iRacing kind of good.

Edit: xbox one.

69 laps at spa on unbeatable, wore my fingers out but no problems. Well compensated also. Xbox.

Did the same thing. I have to be honest, though - 580,000 credits is considerably less than I was hoping for out of 69 laps at Spa.

69 on spa, 8 on the ring and 81 on Sebring. No problems at all.

No issues on the 2 hr, 23 lap Spa showcase.

Also on console.

Definitely need to specify platform. I have done several endurance races without issue on Xbox One.

I did the 23 lap race at Spa on my PC with no problems.

The only problems I have had during races are the occasional stutters.

My biggest problem is tracks not loading. It seems like every 2 or 3 races, the track won’t load and then I have to Ctrl Alt Del and open Task Manager to shut down the game. Then I restart it and it works fine for a few races, then won’t load the track again. When the track does load it only takes about a minute, so if it says loading for more than 5 minutes, I just shut it down and start over.

The stuttering is absolutely unacceptable on Win10/64… I have a i7-6850k/GTX1080/32GB RAM/M.2 and cannot even use Recommended or Ultra on the video. The only way to go beyond 3 laps without so much stuttering you cannot even drive the car is to downgrade the video to Medium at least at this time. I did update the Nvidia driver yesterday and it helped somewhat. I was able to at least navigate through the menus with the video set to Ultra. But shortly thereafter and with the new Nvidia driver, Forza started going back to completely unacceptable.

On top of the video, I have not seen any posts about the completely buggy and almost unusable twitching and craziness of the in cockpit wheel/turning using the controller.

The twitchy and at times unusable turning using the controller is worse than the stuttering. I cannot believe it’s a week after release and they cannot fix video and steering yet.

No problems here on my Win 10 x64/Ryzen 2700X/16 GB DDR4/STRIX RX480 8GB/M.2 in ultra details.

The only problem I have with endurance races is, that you can race a stint for example for 10 laps and have to make a pit stop to change your tires. maximum 15 laps to refuel, where the drivatars can go 30 laps without ANY pitstop! What’s going on with that…

Not an issue on console.
I’ve done all the career endurance races as well as multiple 20+ lap races (P1 & GT) at Le Mans, Watkins Glen, Spa, etc.
(The 81 lap Sebring Ford GT race was about 30 laps too long. The Ford GTLM needs a tachometer! Speedometer would be nice too.)

the problem I have with the endurance races is that they are so long. if we could switch to an AI driver for a few laps to take a break it would be nice.

Just turn on all the assists and put a tape or something to hold down the accelerator button and the game will play itself for you. Problem solved.

I did this in Le Mans when i had to go to have a [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D]. 15 mins later some laps were done and i continued normally. Ez.

You can simply pause and take a break… Letting AI drive for you is ridiculous
