I don’t know if it is just me, but every time I play to drift or anything really, it rains way too often compared to it being clear or not raining. I have timed this, actually. The average time it would rain for is 49 minutes. Average for it to be sunny/no rain fall. 7 minutes. Even right now I have waited over an hour in one lobby for it to stop raining just so it can clear out. Not even 5 minutes later it starts to rain. I don’t know jack about how the weather is at Australia. [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] I’d like an option to turn off rain completely, or at least fix it to where it won’t rain as often anymore. I think everyone would appreciate that.

I also would like the lobby system similar to Forza Horizon. Where the host could set up the lobby however they please. No traffic, mid day, no weather. It needs to be done.

TL;DR: Rain needs a nerf. Downgrade everything to Forza Horizon besides the car customization. Call it a day.

If in Solo mode, you can start pick a race(Exhibition for example)edit the conditions and then quit. When back in Solo the weather will be of your choosing, at least for a while.
I use this to set the conditions I’m looking for to take photo’s. Interestingly(or not ;)) because of the way I play IE. lots of photo’s or Championships, I rarely see rain.

I realise this is a work-around, but hope it’s helpful.

Maybe it starts to rain when you drift a lot? I remember quite a many driftzone sessions being accompanied by rain.

Further handholding to make the game more accessible.

How else would they showcase the system?

Some things have to be manipulated from real life. What would be the point in developing the system if it rains once in a blue moon in the outback?
