Is there an option to turn down or turn off the rain?
Every time I play FH3 it starts raining in the first couple of minutes and it’s either raining or dark and gloomy like it’s going to rain. I drive in hood view and I’d like to drive when it’s sunny more often.
I was hoping for something more like an overall setting. I gave up and uninstalled The Crew because of the weather being always gloomy or raining. Forza seems to be the same way for me. I thought there might be a setting I couldn’t find because I watch streams where it seems to always be sunny. Sometimes I only have an hour to play and I play solo most of the time.
If a Dev sees this, would you please consider adding an option to adjust or turn off the weather when playing solo (freeroaming).
I play on PC
I watched the clock once and in 1 hour of free roaming I had 18 minutes of clear sky’s and daylight. The rest of the drive was gloomy and raining or it was night time and it was raining. the only time I can change the weather is to enter a race. The rain is really hurting my Forza experience.
I don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but a lot of the street races are at night in the rain. I don’t really get a lot of rain other than those.
Well there is no option, but when I want to change daytime and weather on the run, I always enter to the festival camp and leave it, if it’s still raining I repeat.
Thanks FreddyRacer1985
I’ve tried that and it doesn’t work. I’ve also tried fast traveling to Hotwheel Island and the rain follows me there too.
I was running a GTX 770 when FH3 was released and the weather was always nice and sunny. Back in December I upgraded to a GTX 1080 and it’s been raining ever since.
AbeRod0286 I noticed that and I completed the races and haven’t raced them since.
I think I found a way to make things better.
I’ve lowered my graphics to high and turned off Dynamic Optimization. It still rains but not as often and the dark gloomy clouds are gone. Now it rains on a bright sunny day but the rain doesn’t seem to last as long.
There really should be an option for changing the weather.
