TLDR - this fits neatly in 1 hour, improves schedule predictability and flexibility.
Longer version:
Using GT7/iRacing/LFM as a reference, for each event, there is 1 track a week. Some people don’t like this, because they get bored of racing the same track for a whole week and prefer to have daily races (like in GT sport, before it was changed). There is another group who like having the same track for a whole week. because they can practice a race for a few hours early in the week, and race it later that same week.
This is where I think Forza having 5 tracks weekly shines as it gives the best of both worlds. If you like daily races, you can focus on just one and race a different one every day. There will only be 2 days when you have to repeat a track. Or if you prefer, just play the next race available and you have variety. If you prefer 1 track a week, you can just choose the one you want and only race that.
I think that having the races 12 minutes apart (10 minutes for the introductory races) will make this even better. That way each race is at the exact time every hour, so whatever your preference, you can look at the schedule and know exactly what time the races you want to do that week are.
An objection to this might be that the time isn’t enough to do back to back races, but that isn’t really a problem. 5 just so happens to be a prime number, so you will always be able to do all races in the rotation one after the other, just not in schedule order. To give examples, if we number the tracks in the rotation from 1 - 5 then we can do the below (“skip” is the earliest race you can still join after finishing a race)
If the races are short enough that you can do them back to back, you would simply do 1,2,3,4,5
If you skip 1, then 1,3,5,2,4.
If you skip 2, then 1,4,2,5,3.
If you skip 3, then 1,5,4,3,2.
The only time it won’t work is if you skip 4 races, but this case is unlikely.
