Opinion on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo III in Motorsport?
This literally happened to me the whole series driving the car, it doesn’t feel that good in the corner when managing the throttle. I’m not a tune expert so idk what to do to correct this.
I tried making the car RWD, even with the grippier/thicker tires you can basically make a drift car.
(Tweet/vid not mine)
Yep, I’m not surprised! Under certain speeds, there seems to be a differential/wheel speed issue. I tried putting wider tyres at the back, adjusting the diff, making it very front powered, very rear powered. No success yet.
It’s realistic to some extent with the weight transfer, until the car sort of “falls over itself”.
Unfortunately, it is like the whole game. It is OK, but nothing more. Unfortunately, many small errors have crept in again. Far away from beeing perfect
The power of Maglev. Turn10 is already in the futur…
Painted wheel wells? Not a real life thing. Darn.
Tune it for B class light as you can get it. It needs max race aero all the way up. Stock engine. Race tyres and max width. Roll bars set to 25 front and rear 15. Oh and make it RWD (yes I know making a Evo RWD is blasphemy) use on shorter tracks. It’s not bad. Lacks beans on straight but it’s poss if you play with other settings you will get it close to top 100 time.
The only way to tune AWD cars in this game is to set center diff to 85-95% otherwise u will just understeer everywhere xd
goty quality there
they had 1, ONE, new car to the forza franchise and couldn’t be bothered to quality check it? noice
Poor execution of the car model in quality, exterior and interior details. As if bad lighting and poor fidelity “built from the ground up” weren’t enough.
Hint: Like every car treated in FM - Poor Rims Lighting and Texture - Gray Windshield Frames - Paint accuracy, texture, reflection and saturation - Head and Tail Lamp Textures & Reflection, Dim Headlights and Taillights, poor representation of color BLACK in paint diffusers, plastics, window frames, trims (why brown) etc.
Obviously GT7 do everything better.
But the thing i retain is, why we have peoples on the track (+we can hear them instead of hearing bird like GT7) , GT7 have nobody around the track and it look so much better.
That’s an ussless thing, GT7 make feel we privated the track for do our things, FM feel like we are going to do a carnival
The fact is that there isn’t a universe in which FM does a single thing better than GT7 at this moment. And we are talking about a game that was released 2.5 years ago on both last gen (PS4) and current gen (PS5).
That’s one aspect I had most hopes for when they said “BFTGU”, a new lighting model, or totally revamped one. Easier said than done I guess.
GT7’s attention to detail on car models and everything is extremely unbeatable. Even if FM scanned the Evo III, they painted the wheel wells, which is unfair!
Speaking of FM’s “lighting”, it was purely downgraded from the early trailers and dev screenshots on what the game should’ve looked like.
Yeah, this isn’t 2010 anymore. We’re in 2024 and everything should look realistic and feel realistic.
To be fair like 60FPS fair, AWD rides were op in FM7 so the team said let’s kill all AWD rides for FM8 and succeeded as there’s not one single AWD in the game that is anywhere near competitive in Rivals, or in the wet stuff events against the a.ui
It’s almost as bad as someone else pointed out, a 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo III going up against a 2005 Subaru like nothings changed in 10 years
AWD in FM8 feels so off it’s almost pointless having them in the game… unless you swap them out for RWD like I do!
Handling is better in Forza (for me at least xd)
