I prefer the lower price if sufficient, both GC 24gb.

I’m not comparing the two devices. I’m not that good in new technology. I needed to know if the cheaper one is good enough so I don’t have to buy the more expensive one.
i9, nVidia, isn’t important to me, its just that the store nearby has one old device they want to sell at lower price. My sons prefer the AMD, but there is no older stock of the equivalent which results in higher price.
Since Motorsport is a true racing game I’ll keep the old 27" 144hz monitor or upgrade to a 21:9 wider monitor with 144hz.
I play FH4 and FH5, and as you know Horizon is more of a fun relaxed not too competitive game, but the graphics of FH5 is captivating. So I’ll play Horizon on the TV even if the 4k means going to be 60 fps. Which brings the possibility of 98" instead of 85" and save enough money should I later decide to get the wider monitor for Motorsport.
Regarding Windows, few months back we had the problem of long waiting for FH5 to start. Then I noticed that my son laptop starts driving in 1 minut while my PC takes a little over 4 minutes. You at the time explained to us that its something about security or hacking. I asked my son about what you said and he explained to me that this issue relevant to Windows 10 and suggested that I upgrade to 11. Which is one of many reasons I decided to get new PC instead of upgrading the aging one.
Last Saturday I tried (with help) to configure a device online. Found some savings compared to the more expensive one. But the cheaper PC cost way less than buying the components of which it comprised.
If the cheaper PC is good enough except the storage, it possible to get more storage? And what size should it be?

Building fees are included with 5% discount on parts. This was too expensive.
Another configrator is more strate forward and friendly pricing. Unfortunately every part they offer is focusing on low cost to mid range. Like i9 but not the new generation, 3060 and 3070 GC, old RAM type, lower grade motherboard… etc.
Rebuilding a TH400 is way easier to me than assembling a PC. I only cleanup dust from the cooler and GPU every 6 months or so. I even do not now what magic makes software work on hardware.
The extra fees help a worker, a small business owner and some also go to a real estate millionaire that owns the building in which the store is located.

That’s a question I’m not sure has been answered. Is there going to be PC/Xbox crossplay?
Would be cool but I kind of hope not. PC always gets infested with cheaters.

Gonna get this thing dialled in and ready to go for launch day. Will be putting in some serious laps on Oct 5!

Completed the pre-install just now.
Would be good if T10 would publish a global release schedule so I know the precise launch time in my locale.
In the shop the title screen says 00:00 but in the details it says 11:00, so I’m guessing it will be 11:00.
