My issue is I can’t access any online features (message center, AH,anything) except I can connect to horizon live. If I run the game on xcloud everything works fine, so ban is out of question. Everything else connects to the internet perfectly, so it’s not my internet connection either. I tried disableing ipv6, flushing dns, reinstalling the game and turning off my firewall.
One peculiar thing is that sometimes when I launch the game the firewall acceptance window pops up with a weird location for the fh5 exe like: D:2\ForzaHorizon5.exe or D:8\ForzaHorizon.exe… The thing is, FH5 is on my E:\ drive, I think this has something to do with the issue, but I’m not sure what, or why.
If anyone could help, it’d be greatly appreciated!
Some additional info:
My account is part of a Microsoft Family, but it has it’s own gamepass ultimate subscription,
Other member of the family also have their own subscriptions.
I have windows 11 installed
I was never able to connect to the servers since launch
Turn off any 3rd party security software or antivirus, it might interfere with the connection of the game
If you use a router, check if any of your routersettings might block the connection
if you go at start - settings - gaming - xbox networking , what does the results show?
I don’t have an xbox networking option available, I don’t use 3rd party antivirus, and my router is configured correctly. I can join convoys and play multiplayer races, but the AH, Message center… don’t work
Can you open a command prompt as administrator (or powershell) and type the following, post the results here (except for IP Address, Local Mapping, External NAT Mapping)
