The flaws of Car Points and Car XP System - Overlooked and Possible Solution

I know a lot of issues going on regarding the Car XP system, but deep down, the CXP system is deeply flawed. To most casual gamers, the CXP system is not a major issue, but to some enthusiasts the Car XP system is a huge obstacle when it comes to finding the best cars. Especially for Tuners.

Last night, with regards to upcoming “E” class open lobbies, I tried searching for a competitive car for E class race. I tried to test the car with different tunes, I know that the parts are locked behind Car Level. And despite unlocking parts, You don’t have enough Car Points to allocate them.

After grinding for 2 hours and playing a 45 lap race, the car I chose, Toyota Publica from E class, after applying upgrades and spent 15 mins behind tuning, it was not competitive enough. The car still 5-7 seconds behind top leaderboard cars. Then I re-check the leaderboards, which cars are top of the leaderboards, because it’s common knowledge that cars which are on top of the leaderboards are the fastest cars in that category.

Then I saw the Mazda Cosmos and Acura Integra are quite competitive. And that’s when I realize that my grinding for 2 hours was nothing but a huge waste of time.

Now, I purchased Mazda Cosmos, and repeated the whole process. I complete a 15 laps race which was enough to reach level 9.

As you can see, as per the picture, the game clearly states that you need a Level 9 car and 3875 points. But you don’t acquire 3875 points upon reaching level 9. Because at level 9 you get around 2000± car points. This is very much misleading. And when you try to download the tunes from leaderboards, it simply won’t work.

I now decide to grind for a 45 lap race

This took me 1 hour 8 mins, as it was extremely slow since the cars were E class. It was painstakingly hard and frustrating at certain points.

After completing this 45 lap race, my car reached LEVEL 20! As you can see from the above picture, and I have a total of 2950+800=3750 car points. The tune from leaderboard as from previous pic needed 3875 points. So after grinding for 2.5 hours, I was still shy (3875-3750)=125 points. You can understand my frustration at this point.

All this process led me to believe, that there is no way I can enjoy all the cars in the game completely, knowing that the cars are stuck behind this CAR XP System, regardless of knowing which car can be better if upgraded or not. It has become monotonous and boring to do so.

PROBABLE/POSSIBLE SOLUTION

The game already has a ‘Rent Car’ specific feature, the rented car should have unlimited Car XP and all parts and upgrades unlocked within the Free Play race modes only, by this way, you can keep the promised CAR XP system and people like us can enjoy and test drive each cars without having to grind unnecessarily.

Thank You for reading.

I have never ever realized AAA games could be made in such a way to promote alternate services. Now that you brought this to light, I realized I have completely wasted 100 dollars by purchasing on what could be a potential trial game. If T10 made Forza with this scheme in mind then I have no respect for them.
