The Eagle has landed!

Such a pretty car. Enzo Ferrari called the Jaguar E-type the most beautiful car ever built. And he was right of course. Buy he never lived to see the Eagle. Owing to the fact it’s an E-type copy certainly does help it in the looks department. But the fact that it’s new, and it starts (proven by Jeremy Clarkson) give it a slight nudge. Ok, honestly it’s a dead heat between the Eagle and the E-type but beautiful is still beautiful.

I equate the Eagle to Singer when it comes to modern takes on classic vehicles. Wonderful cars with ridiculous price tags. The Eagle performs better stock than the E-Type, and for good reason. Enough to justify the price tag? Ehhh…debatable.

I don’t even factor in the price tag.

Where I’m at these days, the price tag argument is like this:

Hyundai handles better than the Kia, enough the justify the price?

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Well, considering the prices of said Hyundai and Kia is about 1.4 million short of the Eagle and Singer cars…

It’s all relative. As the old country music star Roy Clark once said, “If Cadillacs were a dime each I could run up and down the sidewalk yelling ‘ain’t that cheap’,”.

Or as my cousin from Oklahoma says, “I’m too poor to pay attention”.

But thanks to the game, I still love my Eagle!

I’d probably like it if it was a few feet shorter… like a Choro Q version.

Then how would the engine fit?

Forza Horizon’s TARDIS-based engine swap technology, of course. Keep the hood closed in Forzavista mode and don’t worry about it.

Which is funny, because I swear Mike Brown said something along the lines of “engine swaps would make more sense” in a stream prior to Horizon 5’s launch, and, well, that was clearly a blatant lie.

Mike Brown probably thinks the engine in the “trunk” of a Porsche actually is a spare if the one in front breaks. Remember that old VW joke? That’s how much I believe these people truly know about cars. In his mind, the engine swaps probably do make more sense.

Now there’s an interesting idea that I’m sure will have been done by someone if I checked Google. Front and rear mounted engines.

Someone went even better than that iirc, a car, well two cars, cut in half with front ends welded back to back, drivable in either direction with two independent steering wheels and engines mounted each end.

The Suzuki Escudo. Yes, it was a real twin engine car, not just a video game fantasy car.

I sure hope Lemar doesn’t visit here.

Are you talking about the Top Gear Lemo Show and Jame May’s creation?

No, further back than that, 70’s or early 80’s maybe ? I vaguely recall it might have been made from a couple K- cars ?

Ok. I vaguely recall something like that as well.

Gave the internet a troll, who knew this had been done so many times lol ! Didn’t find the one I recalled but did find a vintage twin engine, front and rear engine 1980 Chevrolet Citation X-11 !
