The absence of everything related to Ken Block in Japan is truly a shame

Posted this over on Reddit, but still wanted to share here as well with what time we have left.

I get the licensing agreements, the costs, etc. but to finally get to such an iconic location in this series without even the #43 badge as a tribute for someone who’s legacy has been such an integral part of the game for so long just seems wrong. No more Hoonicorn, no more Gymkhana cars, no more race suit.

After thinking about it, I decided to put together my own “tribute livery” & felt like the '17 Ford #14 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Fiesta was the most fitting from what we currently have in the game.
(SC: 663 330 586) The window decal vinyl is also shared for anyone interested. Thanks to anyone who decides to check them out & hope you like it.

I was shocked to see nothing hoonigan at all

For sure. Hoping it may return at some point.

His daughter was at the exclusive FH6 event in Tokyo Japan before the game came out and I’ve posted it somewhere on the Forza Suggestions Hub with a link to both Reddit and Lia Block Instagram where both did confirm that technically Hoonigan is coming in FH6

The Hoonigan RS300 has been my go-to car for pretty much every offroad PR stunt I can throw it at over the past two games. It’d be a massive shame to not be able to hoon it around Japan too.

That livery is a nice Tribute to Ken.Good work.

Well we do have TSW, DUB and Rotiform wheels, those are all Hoonigan iirc

Hoonigan filed for bankruptcy and got taken over by a group of lenders. Their sole focus seems to be selling aftermarket parts. A Hoonigan like we knew it doesn’t exists anymore.

Missed those Escorts. Missed that Porsche. Even that Mustang that was barely usable; I miss that too.

Possibly they couldn’t get a license deal. Also we need to remember they will be adding cars for the next 2-3 years. I would absolutely hate it but I could also see a drift expansion for Japan.

Well Lia does have a Forza Horizon 6 sticker on her Hyundai i20N, so there is clearly still a relationship of some sort there.

But if Hoonigan got bought out, that probably complicates licensing their cars, which was probably already more complicated than a normal car to begin with.

It would be nice, but with there bankruptcy in 2024. So i highly doubt it will be in 6. Would be great if they can figure something out
