The Telemetry was broken with an update approximately 6 months ago. Turn 10 please address this. It is really frustrating when you can’t see the suspension bottom out because the Telemetry doesn’t react in real time. I honestly do not know how this has not been addressed given the minor fixes to some of the Telemetry issues that were present at the games release.
Doubt they’ll find time to fix it now that they’ve announced they’re “overhauling Forza 7” and adding in race regulations.
Edit: Also been waiting since March/April when they introduced telemetry to spectating and broke it for the rest of the game. Did you mention that it’s also not real time? So fun seeing my telemetry inputs echo what I did a second ago.
I believe we’ll see the continued advance, ent if FM7 as it not-has into FM8. Which will no longer be a disc based game, but an entirely online option only.
It will only run through the newer Xbox One X. The game will of course operate through earlier Xbox’s. But the time of continual consoles could well be drawing to a close.
If you listed to Chris Esaki (creative director) in the recent October streaming vid, you’ll hear that they are looking at the continue advancement of FZm7 for the upcoming years. No mention of working on the next iteration as would be the norm in game development.
By the time one franchise is released, at least 18mths if work has usually gone into the next iteration of the previous game. Which would be due for release next September/October. 2019.
Both Chris and Arron (Brooks - Physics Director) indicated that they are working on cinti ied releases of updates as they change FM7’s gaming model. It will be an interesting 12 months ahead to see what’s coming for FM in general.
