System Ram… 16gb vs 32gb

Quick question… has anyone seen any notable benefit in game performance from having 32gb of RAM vs 16gb?

How would anyone know ? I have 32 GB of DDR5 ram, my game runs at a stable 60 fps, on 4k ultra, RT off. I am only ever crashing after quitting a rivals session, but i doubt that the extra ram is the stabilizing factor, since people with way more powerful machines seem to have issues. Might be that they have an unbalanced build, might be a driver issue, no one knows.

For context:

I5 13600k
7800xt
32 GB DDR5 ram
WD Black SN850X Nvme
850 Watt PU
Windows 10

How would they know? If they happened to see a comparison video? If they’d upgraded their memory in the last month? I mean… how else would anyone ever know? How would I know without just trying it if not for seeing if anyone had already tried it… :man_shrugging:t2:

FWIW, your system out specs mine in nearly every way… LOL… I’m playing on a 5600 w/power color red devil 6750xt, 16gb DDR4 3600 CL16, Samsung 970 EVO, Seasonic 850w, Win 10…

My settings are essentially 2K, high and I see a consistent 75-80fps with max of 120fps once cars have spread out or in practice mode.

10600k/3070/32GB, game runs/looks horrible no matter what. DLSS doesn’t actually do anything either.

Done all the recommended settings, done my own tweaks. Clean driver installs, complete game reinstall.

It’s out of our hands. Check Steam reviews, almost every one talks about poor performance and visuals on just about every system config imaginable
