Syncing data for fm6

something went wrong with my xbox last night and i had to restore my settings now after syncing forza for a solid 6 hours it just fails and now i can’t play forza at all any help at all?

First, always check Xbox Support initially to make sure it isn’t a problem on the Xbox Live side before doing anything drastic.

Second:

Try doing a system reset (hard boot) as below:
1 – from the Dashboard, out of all games, hold the X button on the front of the console down until it shuts the system down.
2 – Disconnect the external power from the wall plug (or at least disconnect the wall-side connector on the power pack itself).
3 – WAIT until all power drains from the external power pack (no light, either white or dull orange showing on the pack).
4 – Reconnect the power supply to the electrical outlet.
5 – Restart the console in the usual manner, i.e., either with the controller or a short push on the X button on the front of the X1.
6 – WAIT until the console self-checks and fully boots to the Dashboard before attempting anything.

If you don’t disconnect the external power pack and let the power completely drain out, the system is still retaining “old” stuff and not resetting.

Follow the steps exactly, and once you’re finished with the hard boot, again launch the game. If it syncs, let it do so and do nothing else on the console until it completes. Try to stay off your Internet connection with other devices, too. If you’re streaming videos or music online at the same time you’re trying to sync Forza Motorsport, you’re competing for space on your modem/router/gateway device.

I tried this today and it’s still not worked I can play offline wth no save but I can’t play online with any friends, do I just delete my save and face that’s it’s got corrupt.

Try deleting JUST your local save, NOT the Cloud save, do the hard boot of the system again, and then try it.

BINGO! Now, remember to always shut the game down properly:

(1) Go back to the main screen in the game (usually with the triple-level horizontal bars, formerly the Start button, next to the Blue X.
(2) Use the Big X (glowing white on the controller) to send that screen in #1 to the main display in the Dashboard.
(3) Use the triple-level button again, and select Quit from the pop-up menu.

This securely closes out the game so it does not remain active locally or in the Cloud if you wish to play a different game or shut down the console.
