The biggest part of the Forza games for me is being able to drive the MkIV Supra on my own will. However the Supra is not technically an RZ - it’s an RZS because it has facelight style back lights and has the black filling in the headlights. On the note of the back lights, where’s the colour definition? They’re just grey and bland. If you zoom in really close with the photo mode you can JUST ABOUT see the colours on the lenses.
What I really would love is for the option to change between the facelift and pre facelift lights for both back and front. They’ve given the GR “Zupra” the heritage bodykit which has the MkIV style lights so why can’t there be a little more effort put in to make the MkIV seem like it wasn’t done with a “That’ll do” approach,
Even if it was an RZ its 0-60 spec is a bit off. I know this is just me being nitpicky but the J-spec TT hit 60 in 5.1, not 5.3. The exhaust is also not centred. It’s too far over to the right and looks annoyingly out of place. And, as every Supra driver on the game knows, there’s no gear change animation. Would have been nicer if they’d given the Supra its top spec, which is the UK one, and given it a 0-60 of 4.6 and the top speed of 181 mph+
The wheels in the recent Forza games have also bugged me because they style changes when the car gets up to speed, which as a stock car, change again when you go into photo mode. Either keep the wheels in the style they have or - I hope this would be the option - update the wheels so that they’re standard as the 17" smoother ones like the UK spec. Speaking of the UK spec, I’d love the UK/EU spec bonnet to be added into the upgrades section, as well as the TRD bonnet and the BOMEX front bumper from the FnF Supra.
As an additional note for upgrading/modifying, I’d love the inclusion of neon underglow.
Anyone can argue that I’m being over the top with Supra preferences but I love that car and would like to, as Forza has always claimed, ‘Drive the dream’. Out of all the cars I drive in the games the Supra just feels like it was the last thing that was worked on and finished as quickly as possible so everyone could go home and get a cup of tea.
