OK; I know I have posted this twice but I thought it relevant for both a new Forza 6 and for the current Horizon 2 - and of course Forza 5 - in hope that an update can be released or something, along with some other bonuses for tuner cars in general. The reason being: it has bugged me for so long and I just wish it was fixed.
The biggest problem for me is with the Toyota Supra MkIV RZ. That being that the Supra in all of the games is claimed to be an RZ model, which it isn’t! First example: in Forza 2 the “RZ Supra” is eligible for an N/A aspiration race. Big problem straight away: the RZ Supra is a TWIN TURBO model. In addition, the J-Spec RZ twin turbo, which is the model in the games, should have a 0-60 of 5.0/5.1, however the in-game version has a 0-60 of 5.3s, which is what the SZ non-turbo and SZ-R single turbo models have.
In addition the Skyline R34 is given it’s best possible spec which is the V-spec Nur II version. Don’t get me wrong; the Skyline is a brilliant car but as a Supra lover, it would be nice if we could get the best possible spec for the MkIV RZ model, which is the UK version which had bigger pot brakes, increasing stop distance, and smaller, more powerful turbos. The comparison (basic numbers):
J-spec RZ TT: 320bhp, 315 ft torque, 0-60: 5.1s, 170/173mph.
UK-spec RZ TT: 326bhp, 321 ft torque, 0-60: 4.6s/4.9s, 180-183mph.
The last thing I’d like to add is the choice of tail lights for the Supra. In all of the Forza games there is only the style which comes on the car, which is the style with the grey fill between the bulbs. It would be nice to have the choice between that style and the style with the black fill which look more definite between the bulbs.
Modification on the supra, aesthetically, need some tweaks too: the Bomex body kit is as it should be except the front bumper. There’s no inlet on the bottom of the front bumper but in the games there is, which I don’t get. If accuracy is critical, surely the accuracy of the body kit is just as important. In relation the body kits, custom bonnets: in all of the games there’s only one variant of modified bonnets. It would be nice to have a few iconic styles such as the 4-vent variant featured on the orange Supra in the Fast an the Furious; and the bonnet variant featured on the stock UK Supra which has a vent in the centre to aid cooling of the top cylinders.
In addition to the Supra, the Enzo’s spec is a tad out: the games’ Enzo has a 0-60 of 3.3s but the Enzo has a 0-60 of 3.2s. There are a few others but I won’t go into more detail. The Supra was the primary focus!
That said, I’m not saying that what’s already in the games is wrong, just that I can’t “Drive my dream” if the car isn’t what it says on the in.
