So I start playing Horizon 5 for a bit and then after like 45-1 hour, Or sometimes even longer I get stuttering, When I restart the game its just fine. I have an RTX 2060, AMD Ryzen 3500, 16gb of ram. As an example I have played Dirt 5 with the same specs and the GPU usage is even higher than what it is on Forza, So I don’t know if it is a early access issue or its just my hardware really not keeping up. Maybe a cache problem? Btw, Playing on ultra settings with environment texture quality on high.
Same here
I tested FH5 on two systems. My main system (1440p) with a RTX 3070, i7 8700k and 32GB RAM and my secondary system (1080p) with a GTX 1070, i7 8700 and 32GB RAM.
I can play for hours without any problems on both systems. My RTX 3070 can run FH5 maxed out while my GTX 1070 handles it at constant 60 FPS with some settings turned down to “high” instead of the maximum settings (some still on extreme or very high). No stuttering at all. Maybe some drops to 50FPS with the 1070 in crowded zones at night.
Both on SSD. I don’t even use HDDs anymore.
If my 6 years old Strix GTX 1070 can handle it, your RTX 2060 should not have any problems. Not sure about the CPU, the R5 3500 is definitely weaker in comparison to a i7 8700k. What RAM and mainboard are you using?

Sounds like possibly the old memory leak issue dating back to FH3 has reoccurred maybe. I don’t think it’s anything to do with your system, your specs are clearly more than enough to run it well. I expect they will fix it at their end in due course.
I get this problem with long endurance like races, such as Goliath. it eventually just starts to skip and freeze a bit after 10 - 15 minutes of racing.
I have i7 7700k, 16gb ram and 2070RTX.
Same thing happens to me as well. I have 16gb of ram and the way it looks eventually FH5 simply fills up the whole available RAM and starts to drop FPS. Clearly a memory leak issue that needs to be resolved. It also seems they have reduced detail draw distance which helped a lot, as the 1st day it was losing FPS like crazy.
i think it depend son the videodriver.
Same here, this needs a fix. The game starts to get serious performance issues after around an hour of gameplay. Restart fixes it every time, so its gotta be a leak i think. My buddy got a worse overall PC and does not have this issue - probably driver related then.

RTX 3060 Ti
i7-8700K
16GB RAM
dual monitor, main @ 144Hz, game settings on ultra/extreme, Vsync on 72fps and it keeps that no issue. Without vsync and fps limit i get around 85-120 fps depending on the area and the stuttering appears sooner! I tried different settings but nothing helps. The game is installed on a SSD thats dedicated to my games, operation system is on another SSD.
I have the same problem.

Mine happens after about 1.5-2 hours of playing, then is gradually gets worse with the studdering. I have plenty of power to run this game at high settings, because I’m only using about 45% CPU & 75-85% GPU with only half of my ram. I can literally shut the game down and reopen and it’s fine for another 1.5 hours and then it starts again. Really frustrating.
I think it might be the AI-drivers (CPU), i remember in previous games it would cause the game to go weird after a while. hopefully a patch will solve this.
These micro stutters are driving me nuts. Please Fix this bug guys

This bug has plagued all the Forza games, it really is time this was eliminated.
