Still haven't received my downloadable code with Xbox One purchase

Under the instruction of Microsoft, I’m starting this thread to hopefully get this problem fixed. I bought a new Xbox One with the bundle that allows me to select a game to download. So, I paid the extra money for the bundle, redeemed the code, and still haven’t received my code. I’ve talked to 2 representatives at Microsoft, both giving me different ETA’s, and now having me start this thread for the Forza team to address this. I’m getting irritated at the fact that I make the switch over from PlayStation 3, pay the additional money, and I’m still not able to enjoy the console days later. I would appreciate it if the Forza team can get this sorted out before I return the console and buy a PlayStation 4. Thank you.

You will need to address this issue with the retailer you purchased the bundle from.

If you bought the bundle in store like I did, I also had to call my retailer to help me find the code. Ended up being in the box with the fm6 manual and all that. I’d suggest look through each box thoroughly lol I believe mine was in one of the smaller packages. I pre-ordered mine and picked it up on release date though so could be different if you just got yours, not sure how it all works but I’d say what the above poster said, check with your retailer

That’s how I would go about it if it was just a normal download code. So, the bundle I got was the “Pick Your Game Bundle”. It comes with a card with a code on it. You go to xbox.com/nameyourgame and enter the code. Then, you choose which game you want, I obviously chose Forza. After you choose your game, you then type in your email and then there’s a SECOND code emailed to you that you enter in the store. I’m waiting on the second one to actually download it. It’s been 5 days.

That code would come from where you got the bundle. If it was Xbox.com then they are the ones who owe you the code. Where did you buy it? Also have you checked your spam folder? Maybe…just maybe it got hung up there.

I’ve spoken to Xbox support twice now and they’re telling me it’s up to Forza to release the code… I bought the console at Best Buy. I’ve checked my regular inbox and spam folder numerous times to be sure. Still nothing.

Have you spoken with Best Buy about this? If it was their promotion then they owe you the code.

Well, I’m assuming it was set up from Microsoft like this being that everything is done through xbox.com I just keep getting the runaround about it. Microsoft is telling me it’s a valid code and I redeemed it correctly. I just don’t understand why they can’t tell me why I haven’t received a downloadable code that I redeemed through Xbox.com to download the game through the Xbox store.

So, after being on the phone with numerous reps the last couple hours, we figured out the promotion is actually handled through a third party for Microsoft. Go to get their contact info…they closed 30 minutes ago and it’s an email only and wait for a call back.

I’m currently on the phone with Xbox Support. I was on with one rep for an hour earlier, told me I needed to talk to Microsoft, called them, spent 25 minutes explaining everything again, he can’t help me, now I’m back on the phone with Xbox Support. Needless to say, I’m starting to get pretty darn frustrated. And it takes a lot to frustrate me considering I do customer service also!

Sounds like an Xbox Support issue to me if you had to input the code on xbox.com.

And then choose FAQ/Contact US near the bottom of screen. That should take you to the screen that includes some help but also a form at the bottom for people who have not received their code.

Same as what was instructed to do so above
Its up to whoever you purchased it from to provide the codes
Have you checked that a code wasnt sent in your xbox live messages

It was a card with the code on it. Already redeemed. It has been 4 days now. Already contacted support and filled out form, which says that it takes 3 days to get a response. Not very sure what else to do.
