Hey guys,i have a problem regarding redeeming the car pack.On Johniwanna’s stream about 2 weeks ago where the car pack was being shown off,on the chat Mechberg on random intervals handed out codes,and i managed to grab the one before the last.Now,when i redeemed it said success you have the top gear car pack and so on.But when i opened the console today and let it update,i went on the game and there were no free cars in the buy area and when i clicked on one it prompted to go buy the dlc.So,what’s the deal here?Anyway,thanks for your help in advance!
You need to check that the dlc is actually installed to your console
Go into manage game and see if its waiting to install
Also try properly hard resetting your console as well
It downloaded the update,then i hard reset by pressing the xbox button on the console and it still shows me i need to buy it.
But have you checked that the actual car pack is installed…not just the update
I can’t find it to select it on the game hub,and on the marketplace page inside the game it only prompts me to buy it.So either the confirmation page i was shown,was also shown to somebody who put the code faster than me and actually got the pack or there is another problem entirely.
Its not enough to put the code in, hit enter and get the message that the codes for the pack, you then have to redeem it, if you dont redeem it and someone else does it faster then they would get the pack.
Well it said,success you have redeemed the top gear car pack and etc.So,i don’t know.
I’m having the same problem and I can’t find any sollution. I’ve power-cycled my xbox, updated FM6, got the Ultimate Edition (including VIP and Car Pass) and it tells me that I need to pay for the pack. I checked the game hub and I can’t find anything about the Top Gear Pack except a few screenshots. I checked the in-game marketplace and the xbox marketplace and it said I need to pay for it. I’ve also checked FM6 in “Games & Apps”, went on “Manage Game” and there’s nothing ready to install and the Top Gear Pack isn’t in with the Installed packs. Anyone got any sollutions? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It needs to be bought separately

Well unlike ScottishPimp,my problem is not with the car pass rather that i redeemed the code and got a confirmation page from which i turned on the Xbox and saw that it only prompts me to buy the pack.And no.hard reset didn’t do the trick.Any other ideas?
Well as per your previous post if you cant find it in the forza 6 “manage game” hub it looks like you must have missed out on it …someone else got the code before you
Are you sure its not there sitting “ready to install”
Does the car pass alson not work for the hot wheels pack?
Car pass has finished …was only for the 1st 6 car packs as per description
So yes it doesnt work for the hot wheels pack or for any more that get released
