Has anyone ever experienced a sticky throttle or maybe brake controller trigger? When depressed to full the trigger sticks momentarily before releasing? It feels kind of like some type of gummy substance has built up on the inside of the controller at the full on extent of the trigger pull causing the trigger to stick just slightly. Makes it rather difficult when trying to slow for a corner when you are releasing thr trigger and the car continues on at full speed.
Well that was exactly what my controller had started doing. But I found a quick and simple solution to the problem. A small, very small squirt of WD40 at the trigger opening. Letting the WD40 run down to the base of the trigger. Solved the problem. Plus, WD40 is not harmful to the electronics inside the controller. Now my controller is back to working properly.
Just wanted to pass this along incase others might be having a similar problem. Something to try before shelling out a bunch of money for a new controller.
