Title. We can already add vinyls to the car, but not on the windows. Some cars already have the stickers on the stock car, so it CAN be done. Idk if its hard to do, but i would like this feature in the game
I agree, I create police vehicles and the one thing I’m missing in making it 100% realistic is window stickers

currently have paintable brake calipers but adding window stickers is something the community has been asking for a lot and would allow people to recreate certain liveries that use them

it looks like something easy to implement but i think the view from inside is the problem (you can see the problem inside the Mercedes Truck and its Tankpool Sticker) and the Glass definition in the game engine maybe needs a change then - but thats just a guess

Yeah, there’s a shed load of cars I’d like to turn into Touring Cars. Putting a name up there is something I’d like to be able to do.

disable them from the cockpit view if necessary, but add this to the livery editor

Yes please, window stickers would make cars more customizable. A system similar to nfs would honestly work just fine.

Yes, yes, yes! Make all windows entirely paintable. Why? So we can put stickers wherever we want, just like the Twerkstallion has. I can’t wait to start painting them

I would also like to have the option of paintable windows but I wonder how to do it without being stupid.
Sure, it would be great to place some stickers on all windows of a specific car including the windshield but it would be dumb to fully paint all of the windows. How would you drive such a painted car in cockpit view?
I’m sure you want to see the stickers from inside of the car other than leave it out of sight. But that would be problematic with a fully paintable window… So, what’s the solution? I think without some limitations this paint option would not be possible although I hope it will be possible in the future.
Leave it to the players. The Twerkstallion has a lot of stickers on the windshield too. It’s just what it is. Fully paintable windows gives so much more freedom. I would love to see it being added.

I just thought it could look a bit goofy if all cars in a race have fully painted windows or look like the four wheeled vehicles from Disney’s Cars movies with eyes painted on the windshields… 
just leave the strip for the front windshield, and do what you want for all the other windows of the car (side and rear)
for the interior view, nobody cares to be able to see them from the inside, it is mainly an exterior modification;)

I know a lot of people say that having the stickers look weird from the interior would be a problem but you could make the stickers have a slight transparency and just be a grey outline.

I’ve thought of a possible way to get widow stickers and tire letters an option. So you know how we have the vinyl/decal editor for the body panels of the car? What if we had 2 additional editors: 1 for placing vinyl on Glas surfaces: windows and headlights (which don’t affect the headlight functionality at night). Would make smoked taillights a possibility as well.
2 for placing vinyl on the side profile of the tires. This would make it possible for us to make any tire a Yokohama, Pirelli, Toyo or a Michelin and so on without you needing to get the extra license for it. (We would just use the same vinyl groups that we use at the moment in the livery editor)
If it’s possible for you to do it, pls implement this in the game. The community would be really really happy and the potential of liveries in the official competitions increased.
And if possible a potential vinyl limit and livery file limit increase would be the cherry on top
