Steering Wheel a must have... But which one ?

I came into the Forza franchise late , at the beginning of Forza 4 and was completely hooked !
I couldn’t get the hang of the controller to drive the car and part of the whole experience was in getting as close to actually driving the car… So for me it must be a wheel
I started with the Xbox one and got a second hand one from eBay mounted it on £60 stand
Still on the 360 platform I got arguably the best on the market a Fanatec CSR Eite and pedals, very pricey at £800 plus a sturdier wheel stand for £120 all fine so far
Then I had to drop out for about 8 months and on coming back I decided to upgrade and gave the 360 to a family member and I got myself the Xbox one and Forza 6

I’d heard some good stuff about F6 and was really keen to restart my racing

And to my horror found the Fanatec wheel and pedals incompatible, I feel really let down having invested a fair amount that it’s not upgradable

What to do now… What is the best wheel package ? I notice on the Fanatec website their offering a V2 wheelbase that’s upgradable (too late for me) for £750, then you stil have to put your choice of wheel on it, so your into at least a grand and pedals on top!!!

Anyone out there got praises for the Thustmaster 458 and pedals
I’ll want to have 2 pedals with an auto clutch

Any help with any of this is much appreciated

The TX with better Wheel GTE or Above is a very good FFB wheel.

The pedals that come with it are not so good, you say you want two pedals with auto clutch. In my opinion, your better off with the TP3A (pro or not pro) even though they have 3 pedals.
The resolution of the gas and brake are much better and you will be faster (more consistent) just ignore the extra pedal, heck you can take it off.

I think Thrustmaster is offering a package with the TX base, GT wheel and TP3A pedals, this is what I would suggest.

Now I am writing this, while I wait for my New CSW V2 base, XBONE GT wheel and Elite pedals to arrive (out for delivery).
