Hello everyone,
I’d like to share feedback regarding the Steam regional pricing for Forza Horizon 6 in Ukraine (UA).
While the Ukrainian price is slightly lower than in EU countries, it still remains very high relative to average income levels in Ukraine. At this price point, the game becomes difficult to afford for many players and feels more like a luxury than entertainment.
Regional pricing often plays a key role in allowing players from lower-income regions to support games legally at launch. I truly enjoy the Forza series and would love to support the game, but the current price is a significant barrier.
I hope this feedback can be taken into account for future pricing reviews. Thank you for listening.
I agree, as I am facing a very similar situation in my country (India).
If compared to FH5, the edition that contains 2 expansions has almost doubled in price this time around for FH6 and it is practically a luxury rather than a video game.
I am from Ukraine. And I cannot afford even the base version of the game. Let me repeat, Microsoft — the BASE VERSION.
If you are ever curious why, ask your analysts — they surely know. And if they tell you that people in South Asia (where the base version of Forza Horizon 6 costs $20) live two and a half times worse than people in Ukraine, fire them and hire new ones.
The last thing I allowed myself to buy with pleasure, given the circumstances, was ARC Raiders. Interesting why? Because they understand what regional pricing is. And here’s the fun part: they lowered the price before release to exactly the level where I could afford it.
Forza Horizon 6 exceeds that threshold by two times — for the BASE VERSION.
But this isn’t just about my country. Your regional pricing — or rather its almost complete absence — is unreasonable in many other countries as well. When did Microsoft become a Japanese company that has never even heard of regional pricing?
But let’s assume you don’t care. Let’s assume you’ve decided this policy is justified. Your game will still sell, of course — and probably quite well. But I won’t buy it.
Not because it’s a bad game — I’m sure it will be better than the previous one. Not because of principles, or because I want you to go bankrupt — no, I love your games and I’m willing to pay for them.
I just can’t. If I buy games at these prices, I won’t have money for food or to pay for electricity — in my incredibly “European” country.
How many more people like me are there across all the countries where you’ve decided to ignore living standards and income levels?
I’m here for the same reason, Yesterday BD region price was 38.99$ I was collecting money to pre purchase it today now It’s 83.99$. It’s over 20% of my salary. There is no way I can prepurchase now and waiting for sale will take over year. They did something wrong.
Hello everyone, I’m from Russia (I’m for peace, so please don’t bring up what’s been happening since 2022. I respect everyone! At the end of 2022, I changed my region to Turkish because many games were unavailable due to restrictions. As soon as the trailer was released and the game appeared on Steam for 35 dollars for the regular edition, 43 dollars for the Deluxe Edition, and 55 dollars for the Premium Edition, I was surprised that it was a bit expensive for the Premium Edition (but since I’m very lazy and prone to procrastination) I thought that I would buy later, nothing would happen if I buy Premium Edition in April I turned off the computer and went to bed and something pulled me to get up from the bed, turn on the computer and buy Premium Edition like, stop putting everything on hold! act now!)I was very surprised when my YouTube comment was commented on with the words that I was very lucky and the prices had changed I didn’t believe it until I checked the prices now for Turkey instead of 33,45,55 - 48,69 and 84 dollars!!! This is clearly an overkill, it is unfair to those players who postponed the purchase and planned to make it later, like me for example. This is a very bad act that will cause a violent reaction in the community! =(Please tell me, are there also rapid price increases on other platforms? My average monthly salary, for example, is about $1,500. 53 I’m willing to pay for the opportunity to play 4 days earlier and all the other buns) but 84 is clearly too much! This is exactly the price tag I expect from the GTA6, for example
This is the first game in my life that I didn’t buy on a discount in Steam! before fh6, I always bought everything on discounts and seasonal sales
I added the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition to my cart on Steam and went to another room to get my wallet. When I first added it to my cart, the price was shown as $64.99. While I was entering my payment information and about to proceed, I received a price change warning from Steam, and within 2–3 minutes I saw that the price had increased to $83.99.
This situation caused a major disappointment for customers in Turkey, and within the first 1–2 hours the issue started to be widely discussed on forums. Considering the current high USD exchange rate in Turkey, I believe that this sudden price increase will cause more loss than benefit for you in the long run. As a result, I decided to cancel my purchase.
Yes, the difference may seem like only $20, but due to the exchange rate, I do not think most players here can afford such an increase. Therefore, I kindly request your support regarding a possible price reduction or discount.
If Steam is the main authority responsible for regional pricing, I would greatly appreciate it if you could also provide me with a support message that I can forward to Steam regarding this issue.
On behalf of all players in Turkey, thank you very much for your time and understanding.
Dude, the price you see for FH6 on Steam is 100% on Microsoft.
For example, in my region Steam actually recommends setting the price at half of what it is now.
Microsoft just ignored that recommendation.
Almost the same price as here in Brazil, but is more expensive here(549 BRL - around 4524,08UAH). They are basically selling it for almost a third of the minimum wage here. It is crazy expensive.
I was about to make the same exact point here in the uk. While im sure the issue is greater in other countries we have to pay the same numerical value as america. That converts to about $85 on top of the fact that workers in the uk make roughly 30%-50% less income. This just seems stupid to me and its an issue not just with this game.
Guys, I completely understand you. I thought I was the first one who postponed the purchase and then decided, like, “don’t delay, buy it right now!”
And then — boom. The prices changed literally in front of my eyes.
I even took screenshots because otherwise it would sound like I’m crazy — I have actual proof. I was so happy after seeing the original prices that I went to brag about them to my friend… and the very next day I see the prices jump up.
It honestly felt like I was watching Bitcoin, the stock market, or even the Steam skin market fluctuate in real time.
This is madness. Prices before the change (23 Jan 2026):
Standard Edition — $31.99
Deluxe Edition — $45.99
Premium Edition — $54.99
Can the official Horizon 6 Standard Edition of Forza purchased on the Steam platform add an upgrade purchase option, such as upgrading from the Standard Edition to the Premium Edition and upgrading to the Premium Edition when the Standard Edition is purchased
