I just started the track toys and I picked the KTM. I start the race and I noticed the racer feet doesn’t move when you press the gas, clutch and brake. When the racer shifts the shifter doesn’t move, the racer just touches it. There is no life in these cars besides the gauges and steering wheel. It’s a shame because they talk up graphics and visual content yet they make these cars complete static. Gran turismo 5 has more life in there cars. the shift, they move, the racer seem like a actual driver not just floating hands with legs glued to a seat. I hope maybe they fix this but i won’t hold me breath.
I know that minor details separate a game from another, but give it time. This game is still a big work in progress and I’m sure we’ll see more details like this hopefully added in time.
Come on man, don’t troll. You know exactly what I’m talking about. Did I need to be specific? look at a video of any premium car in gt5. All the gauges work, Your driver is your avatar for every car, he moves around, he properly shifts each car, he isnt glued to the seat. forza 5 is a great game but i feel like a lot of short cuts were taken to get this out at launch
Wow. In my 6 years and 8 months in this forum, this is the first time I’ve ever been accused of trolling. Of course, my response is of the contrary and you missed the point entirely. As for me, I’ll take Forza’s lack of superficial driver movements over inconsistent vehicle and environment modeling any day.
I’m just saying at least for a car where they clearly show everything there should be no reason why those animations don’t work. I noticed the shocks move and that is clearly a visual adjustment they took time to do. With cars with paddle shifters the driver isn’t even touching the paddle he shifts air, If you shift up or down multiple gears, the driver doesn’t shift fast enough, it’s delayed. I just feel like it’s very robotic to me. It doesn’t make this game bad, It’s just something I noticed and it kind of irked me.
gt5 isn’t at the graphical or technical s tandpoint like the forza series but it does have lots of key elements that would make forza better.
