Wait, dudes…it’s not the Dam/reservoir area…Derwent Water is the big lake over by Ambleside. Try there.

After trying out most of the GT the Maserati looks the best by far. Aston Martin DBD JB is a decent alternative.
Bentleys look the fastest but I could not keep those on the street to save my life. I wonder how you guys are driving those power-boats.

For the Forzathon, remember that the 1995 BMW M5 has the 5.2L V10 available.

I already had an A class tune of the Maserati GT shared, which I had developed for the moorhead wind farm rivals event, prior to the full class rivals being added. However, it had rally tyres, and I wanted to try making stock tyres work. I’d say the stock tyres build is definitely faster for this Trial, I managed to just scrape into the top 100 for the Meadows Sprint rivals. I’ve shared the stock tyres tune.

Now go back to garage, swap back stock engine, install supercharger and do one more run on Meadows

I hope this helps you to do the challenges

I got disconnected the first time on Elmsdon then whilst racing lag made me miss a checkpoint so I could only recover to 4th. I swear that race is cursed! xD

Maserati won the second race easily and then I finished 3rd trying not to wreck a very determined team mate in a Bentley who seemed hell bent on winning the race haha.

I can’t believe how nice that thing drives in the rain. Me and the fastest drivatar blew the field away at a soggy Bamburgh.

I had a similar experience with the trial. First position dropped before the Elmsdon race, Bentleys all over the place and a lot of coasting and braking early to avoid them. The Maserati was a nice drive. I generally use a heavy tune for the trials and pgg. Also, I was expecting a lot more comments about the drift pr stunt.

Here are some drift tunes that were pretty easy to accomplish Back Lane.
GT86 833 726 406, eggy livery: 162 111 572

Sorry, too much in RL going on to play Forza.
Did manage the trial, Alfa Romeo and modern sports car championship. Used Alfa Romeo 8C for trial and won all 3 races, only on last race other player in Maserati came close. Did try to get in with my friend, this time in Maserati, but disconnected every time.
Other two championships were done in same car - Alfa Romeo 4C.
Have also '53 Corvette ready for last championship.
Tunes are shared, if I find the time, I’ll post more details.

Have fun everyone, bb

Hello, late again!

Perhaps still can be some help even now, so, cars/tunes/suggestions for this weeks seasonal for those that find such useful. All tunes are my own, unless otherwise noted, all shared by myself (or others). ~ tune name / share code. If you use anything offered here, and you like it/it was useful to you, please don’t forget to leave a like.

Online:
**Trial: “Vamos a la Playa” | Road Racing | (A800) GT Cars
**Car used: 2010 Maserati Gtan Turismo S (Autoshow 156,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 Road Trial / 175 943 405

Had a play around with the Bentley, and Quartz, before (as other have said here) deciding the Maserati is one of the more solid choices. Had trouble in the Trial, required a few attempts before I managed one that stuck, also noted the ‘pole position’ issue with the Elmsdon track. Placed okay at Elmsdon, not podium, but scored, due to a few errors on my part, blitzed at Bamburgh, ran fourth from twelfth after missing a checkpoint (don’t recall details, ‘force’ related) in the Meadows. Solid easy to drive tune, some grip, some power, tune runs rally tires, AWD with no aero.

**Seasonal Playground Games | Rail Yard | (B700) United Kingdom
**Car used: 1964 Austin FX4 Taxi (HTF)
**Tune: C600 RY Games / 150 167 324

Time to use the unused - British Black Cab. More than able for this seasons games, in my games only the OG 60’s Mini was clearly faster, others may have had a speed advantage, but for the location I did not see it. Tune is AWD, with vintage tires, chopped top, and 3.2L inline six engine swap.

PR Stunts:

  • Back Lane Drift Zone, 2013 BMW M6 Coupe FE - ‘Winter Drifter’ (829 404 137) by STEVEthePIRATE,
  • The Grange Speed Trap, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544),
  • Leap of Faith Danger Sign, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544).

Solo championships - Raced against Expert, Steering: Simulation, ABS: on, Traction/Stability; Off, Gearbox: Auto.

**Championship: "Flying Fifties | Street Scene | (C600) 1950s
**Car used: 1955 Chevrolet 150 Utility Sedan (Autoshow 35,000 Cr)
**Tune: C600 Road SC / 161 657 759

Slowly but surely bit by bit run the lead down. Car/tune takes time to get up to speed, but no trouble catching them all (expert). Easy to drive, no real unpredictable behavior beyond feels heavy and turns as you would expect a heavy car to do. Tune is RWD, sports tires, supercharged, no aero.

Running the same car/tune for the next two events -
**Car used: 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C (Autoshow 74,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 Road / 171 558 277

Tune in both cases is AWD, with rally tires, no aero, but runs the hazard lights on the roof - as it worked with the livery I was using (seemingly no longer listed in the hub), searching “SBK Safety Car” will find similar if desired.

**Championship: “Alfa Romeo and Juliet” | Street Scene | (A800) Alfa Romeos

Easy enough event, with my only issue been that the A.I. system decided that the lead A.I. car was going to be ultra quick and make a good break between itself and the pack - only to be slow and meek when passed, not even managing second place.

**Championship: “Sports Day” | Road Racing | (A800) Modern Sports Cars

Slightly harder, more competitive racing (expert) than the street scene event, maybe due to more options for the A.I. to emulate. Again however, was able to win all races without too much trouble.

That’s all folks, enjoy.

I used the Mazda RX-8 for sports, Hudson Hornet for fifties & the Giulia for the Alfa chanpionship. All won without too much trouble against unbeatable drivatars. Stable, quick and really nice cars to drive.

Finished 2nd in the PGG in the Sunbeam. 2 defeats in a row after a run of good form, but 2 less people on my team made it tricky!

I cant get pass the drift stunt. Max score i did was 41000 lol. I gave up after two hours trying. And probably gave up on this game soon at this rate. Its the only one left to reach 80% and i am not going to be able to do it. Its always the same story. Im done lol. No, im not an hyper professional drifter, ive been only playing for two years and i play the game to have fun. Its not a job lol. Devs can you please woke up and give us more options that are not online-related or drift related?? you are making this game a joke.

The new Formula Drift Nissan makes it easy, you don’t even have to go into manual gears… you can do it on Automatic. I did it first attempt.

Have you tried the 1968 Abarth 595? It’s very good for drifting because it’s so short, so it easily fits on the road when sideways. I can’t remember if I’ve shared my drift tunes for it or not, but you can probably find drift tunes for it from top tuners easily enough. The Formula Drift Viper is also very good (with a tune rather than stock). There are some other excellent drift cars, but it’s so long since I’ve done much drifting that I can’t remember what they are any more.

I’ve been drifting it a bit today and had some success with the 98 Supra with a RWD tune. I’ve shared it, 262 408 733, 80150cr, but I’m sure there’s a lot out there. Having a decent tune is half the battle. I’ve been consistently getting over 60k with it. I just leave it in 4th most of the time, manual shifting, ABS, SCM and TC turned off.

An example on Twitter … here

For me it’s easier to get higher scores for the back lane zone starting on the west entrance, the side by the player home. It has a better run up and then most of the zone is downhill.

Here’s my demo with 2 cars - the 1968 Abarth 595 and the #25 RTR Mustang. My tunes are shared.

and here are my atempts:
https://youtu.be/Xm5TjW4p_Dc - hudson hornet with random AWD tune, 1st run
https://youtu.be/jMf2MxP2hgg - stock SLS, 2nd run, next run was better by around 10k
https://youtu.be/Dgsb7qXFAPk - SL65 Black Series with random AWD tune, 1st run, even with that mistakes it was good to clear it
https://youtu.be/3nxU2wnLWWQ - stock falcon, 3rd run
https://youtu.be/NeeLal8Fmy8 - AWD falcon with 2min build (just parts added on), not enough power, 1st run

IMO I would use AWD. Rather something longer than 595 or Mini - in my hands they are too twitchy.
And as mentioned before - no assists + manual

Have you got an RTR Mustang, Formula D 599 or Formula D Viper? There are “God like drifting” tunes where you use only 1st gear and the car drifts itself, you basically just control the throttle.
