With the soon to arrive car pack and the Porsche’s from the Forzathons what cars are you going to have to get rid of to make some room - Especially as we have those “duff” pre-order ones taking up unnecessary (Some may say vital) space in the garage…
I had a clear out the other week… and with one one of each car with or two exception where I have doublers that I’d rather scrap than sell to those who shouldn’t be named for flipping for a massive profit…
Currently sitting at 529 down from a max of 539 cars in the garage… Time for another look…
I’ve managed to keep my garage rather clean in around 200 cars. I’d still prefer to get it way lower as l want my garage to be MY collection and not a demonstration of the games car list.
I have a lot of Ford and Chervolet that l need to wade through. My goal is to get my roster to about 50 cars. But there’s at least 3 dozen award/barn cars too you’re kind of stuck with as you can’t either delete them or get them back if you do.
Yes well putting it that way only one I used was the Bone Shaker for acouple of races. Now just have to wait for Horizon 3 to download due to External Hard drive tanking on me. 1.7TB of games on the dam thing.
The HW cars - with two of each and the only people who you can sell them to also potentially having two of each they are pretty much worthless… so they were a no brainer…
The RX-7 will be next especially as I took a look in the AH and found 19 identically painted ones all with the same end times all “listed” by the same seller for 20M Start 20M Buyout…
No thanks I’m not into “private” deals if it’s going anywhere it’s to the crusher… At least that’s one they wont get their hands on…
I have decided not to buy anymore of the DLC car packs on release.. I will only play for Forzathons and Barn finds for now… Might pick them up if they ever go gold and there’s enough room in the garage for them by then…
I still think the deletion process could have been made more amusing with the playing of a “Crusher” sound clip to accompany the cars removal… Oh hang on that’s probably a wish-list item…
Although if the rest of the car packs are anything like the Mountain Dew one coming out tomorrow - I might have to reconsider the other scrappers fate…
If I needed to clear space, I could get rid of the BMW clone army without a second thought. Most of the Ferraris would be pretty expendable, too. After that, probably any Infinitis and Vauxhalls I have lying around. Or excess Vipers…
What, most of the Ferrari’s are expendable!!! Are you out of your mind or something!!! That statement should be applied to most of the Fords or Chevys, not majestic. prancing-horse FERRAR!!! Most of the Fords are expandable IMO!
I have less than 300 cars in my garage, so space is not an issue at all. I like to purchase what I need when I need them only, so that my garage is a reflection of the cars I’m most interested in. Besides the game is so penurious when it comes to doling out credits, it would take some time for me to max out on my garage space, which is not a goal anyhow.
are you serious about credits being hard to earn , it’s so much easier than FH2 and FH1, you want to know what’s penurious try playing Forza Motorsport 2 , even FM3 and FM4 are tighter
the only Forza game where they are easier to get is FM6 and maybe FM5
other than those they are so easy to get it’s not funny, not sure what people do with all the credits
I’m pretty picky with cars so no need for me. Only have American cars , Aussie muscle , audis, mercs, and a few BMW as well as a few Ferrari and lambos. Everything else gets sold or removed from garage as soon as I get it. But if anyone is throwing away a 32 ford I could always use another.
Unfortunately there’s no way of controlling who’s going to get them so they could be “sniped” from under your nose..
I would have gladly gifted a load of cars to work colleagues etc if it were still an option… but unfortunately for whatever reason they didn’t carry that facility over…
Hopefully now they have fixed it so you can delete the pre-order cars you weren’t entitled to I will have enough room for a while…
