So... People that ram for no reason

I put this in the wish list thread, the option would pop up to vote to kick initiated by another player.

As far as the “vote to kick” option might work however people will abuse it, this was a.major problem with FM4, a group of people voted to kick you off just because your skills were better than them, faster etc. Or simply to troll you. As far as FM6 yes its a pain but imo will not go away any time soon, unfortunately!

The votes are cumulative, so once you’ve voted to kick someone that vote stays registered as long as you (and the kickee) are in the lobby. Others can vote after a later race and your vote still counts towards the total.

So we’re expected to have to put up with the griefer for x number of races until he/she is realised? That’s absurd, they need to be delt with and removed as swiftly as posible, not allowing them to cause further grief

I wasn’t suggesting it’s a good system, merely responding to your point that half the lobby may not have witnessed the griefing and so it should show previous kicks too.

Ah no problem, my apologies

I’ve been in lobbies with poor racers who just can’t help but take everyone out at turn 1. However this morning there was this guy who reversed off the line, then purposely took everyone out. Then waited for the front runners to come back around, then tried to take us out.

I saved a replay, but not sure what to do with it. I also reported him.

Check for Private Messages, folks. There is a method to help weed out these people.

Reporting them via the Xbox One Dashboard method is very good, because it draws attention to the unsportsmanlike behavior of the players with the Xbox Policy Enforcement Team (PET). They eventually will have enough complaints about the gamertag to keep a live eye on the person (they have the capabilities, in-game) and their enforcement of the Code of Conduct is on Xbox Live, not the individual game.

Turn 10 administers the Code of Conduct regulations for Forza Motorsport 6, and does ban as the evidence warrants for FM6 on a daily basis. The details are important here to protect the legitimate players in the game. But the PET reports and those filed with Turn 10 are separate and not mutually cumulative. PET is for Live, Turn 10 is for the game itself, and you’d be surprised how many orange or red reputations are among the “I didn’t do anything wrong!” crowd.

Wreckers can be absolutely annoying. I have had several races where I am leading and then a guy slows to be a lap down and goes to wreck you out when you go to pass him. It’s ridiculous, but I won’t let it ruin my day. I’ll just take a break from that lobby and hope I don’t have to deal with some more wreckers. It tends to be a big issue online, but it seems it is hard to really get an overall fix on it other than ghost lobbies.

One thing I find with this iteration of Forza is that even if you mistakenly tap someone there is a chance that they could crash. And if you do not have a mic in and have any way to indicate that it was a mistake for example, people can get vindictive. As a result, there are a number of “wreckers”.

This is an important point that I’ve brought up before. People seem to assume that all crashes are deliberate. In FM5 I saved replays when I thought someone, or several people, were being unsporting, but when later studying the replays by watching from different perspectives I usually found the wrecks to seem more like mistakes than deliberate crashes. I’d guess that maybe less than 2% of the crashes I studied turned out to appear to me as deliberate wrecks. There were times I determined myself to be at fault, as I play in cockpit view and have blind spots wherein I can only guess as to what’s going on, and I presently play with a wheel so I can’t turn my camera view to look around. Sometimes I moved over thinking I was clear of another guy when it turned out I wasn’t quite fully clear.

Yep.

I’ve got into the habit of saving replays whenever I suspect someone is griefing or I get rammed. I save 'em up and review them at the end of a session and any with obvious intentional ramming get sent to Snowowl, but that’s only a fraction of the files. In most cases it’s obvious that the person who hit me or caused T1 carnage either made a mistake was just generally poor at the game, but clearly wasn’t doing it on purpose.

Of course bad players can ruin the game just as much as trolls, but T10 can’t ban people for being rubbish. It’s just unfortunate that, with Vote To Kick so broken, there are no sanctions short of a ban.

Ok, to start off, if this isn’t the correct area to post this feel free to move it

So i have a major issue with the multiplayer of this game. Every online game ive join just seems to be a demolition derby with in the first turn and the only way you win is if your lucky enough to avoid it. I can understand a few races being like that, mistakes happen. But every race? There needs to be some kind of skill matching system or allow us to make our own public lobbies again so that we can easily find other skilled and serious drivers to race because at this point the online part of this game is absolutely unenjoyable for me. Id rather hook up my old ps3 and load up Gran Turismo 6 because at least i can find a serious lobby and actually enjoy the race. I love everything else about this game, its just a shame that the online has to be so bad.

Hey,
I’ve ben in a few lobby’s, not just drift, but also circuit races where people intentionally chase people just to ram and troll. Its very annoying yes but if you dont feed into it (just leave the race as soon as it happens) eventually people learn they have little to no affect on us forza enthusiasts and they’ll piss off.

true

how about letting people create lobbies like they used too and the creator can kick whoever he wants. That’s how you solve this, You will have clean lobbies and no problems. So stupid to randomly match people

It would solve all the issues that we have. if someone is trolling and you can notice it before the start of the race, just kick them.

the matching system obviously does nothing. All skill levels in one hopper. It is just asking for a disaster

+1

I’m just accepting it as part of the game experience. I just started making bad youtube clips of all the wreckers out there along with other random forza insanity.
