Coming from someone who has experienced the terrible side effects of chemo, I’m really glad your wife doesn’t have them too bad. She must be extremely tough to have not missed a day of work with all this going on! I wish you and your family all the best for the future. Take as long as you need Snowowl.

Having a close friend who is battling cancer, I could not imagine what you are feeling supporting your wife’s fight. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers… F@#$ CANCER!!!

This does raise a good point however; Snowowl’s been putting in a lot of volunteer work, pretty much on his own, in order to deal with reported players. From the looks of things there is no backup person for the few times that he’s unavailable.
Honestly, I’m amazed that Turn 10 / Microsoft haven’t got a full-time staff member available to do what Snowowl does, or an official process/system for reporting players. Is the “management of problematic community members” that low of a priority for them that the only way it gets done is through a volunteer, one that puts in far more time than one can reasonably expect one person to do?

All game companies are like this. They rely far too much on volunteers as they are greedy as hell. The more volunteers, the more profit for said company.
People like snowowl do so much for very little reward. An odd game here or there, is nowhere near enough recompense for the work he and others like him do. It’s time these things were looked at by people with the power to get some official recognition of “volunteers”, who are basically unpaid employees.
Like PJ said, If snowowl is away there’s no real backup. There should be more people on this as the community is constantly complaining about wreckers but it’s clear that T10 give it practically non-existant priority. If people were paid for this job even part time a couple of hours a day, it would demonstrate some good will to both those doing the work, and players seeing less bad behaviour as a result. We all know it won’t happen, but It’s something i have to point out every now and again. It’s dismissive out of touch behaviour like this that caused the downfall of gaming (Atari especially) in the early 80’s…

Quick update: Trip was great! But we’re tried AND back at it.

I have so much respect for you! My mother is going through the chemo thing right now and I would not wish that on anyone even my emimies! You have helped every racer that plays this game or other past Forza titles. I even have an old Rival car with your name on it I think from Forza 3 or 4, a white one. Thanks for all you do and also my family and I are praying for a great recovery for your wife! It’s always the good people who seem to have the worst challenges in life!

Cancer is all around us. Our granddaughter’s “other” Grandma has beaten cancer - just declared cancer free a couple weeks ago. She was one of the main support people when my wife was diagnosed last year. Fortunately, my wife is taking a one-a-day “chemo pill” for the lung portion (FDA approved in 2014) and has minimal side effects only, and isn’t “made sick” with it.
Snowowl, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know to well what it is to face this sickness head on…
Stay strong, stand tall and stay the course but most of all have FAITH…

You and I have had a couple strong debates on a thread or 2, lol, here on these forums. I will always respect you and appreciate what you do, on your time, with these forums and forza.
