If like me or my colleagues you enconter very slow loading times on PC (up to 5-7 minutes to access the home screen), here is a workaround I found by chance. By slow loading time, I mean the login and update check screens at game launch, not loading times during game.
Press the Windows key repeatedly on your keyboard, the loading will be much faster.
I’d bet tapping shift repeatedly would help too… better yet… Alt-F4…. 
The Windows key toggles the game window state. Each time you do that the progress bar advances faster. How this all works is beyond my understanding, but this trick saves me several minutes. I hope this helps even one person.
It does I don’t how but my game got messed post patch 3 and takes literally forever to load mow. I’ve repaired, reset. Changed GFX drivers. This is not ideal but it did actually work. I just wish I could fi it properly but for now this will do.
Edit: After trying basically all the old fixes on the web this is still the only one that works…
You don’t need to repeatably hit the button - I’ve found just putting anything else into Desktop Focus will make the game open correct (E.g just hit Start button so Menu appears). Alt Tab / Click back into the game afterwards.
Well I just press it between each “step” moves it to next one until you get to the regular loading screen to the Menu
Thank you! Doing that takes my sign-in/updatec check time from 10-15 minutes to about 15 seconds. I was losing my mind. Whenever I left the game, if I knew I was going to play again later, I would just leave the game open.
