Slight changes after release...

As great as the game is, there are still some flaws that I’m pretty sure everyone would appreciate if they were fixed…

  1. Rim color changing glitch still exists:
Rims will either change to chrome or another color once the wheel rotates at full speed. Please fix and/or allow rims on different axles to be painted separately and differemt pairs of rims on different axles.

  2. Some areas on cars are unpaintable:
When trying to put a square vinyl on the side of certain cars, small areas will remain unpainted with no way to paint it.

  3. Move community tab on pause screen to festival menu:
Why have to exit the festival to go to the storefront? Just make a storefront/community tab on the festival menu.

  4. Still only 90° of steering wheel rotation:
Long-term forza problem. Please fix this.

  5. Some if not most muscle car tires widths don’t exceed 295 mm:
Muscle car, supercharger w/ blower, skinny tires… Doesn’t make sense.

  6. Horizon tire lettering only for race tread:
Not a big problem personally but people complain about it all the time.

7.AWD cars usuable in “DRIFT” zones:
Have seperate leaderboards based off of drivetrain.

  1. Drone flying height:
Too low compared to real life,

  2. No club garage again:
    Why not?

10 and final. No private sharing:
You used to be able to send someone a car or vinyl set you made directly. Now you have to put it on the storefront and have them download it from there.

Still the best racing franchise ever produced. Just some minor problems…

I think some explanation is needed.

What is the problem exactly?

Rally cars drift some turns in real life so not sure what the problem is.

I’m assuming you have never heard of four wheel drift?

I have heard of it, I just associate the word “drift” with RWD. I’m aware there is an AWD community, but I refer to “AWD drifting” as powersliding. Just my opinion.

A “powerslide” IS a type of drift. You are using POWER to SLIDE the rear end of the car. The issue is it’s easier (according to some folks) to get huge points using an AWD car, hence the request for separate LBs. It’s true IRL, most pro drift leagues specify RWD only.

Problem is, that’s kind of a slippery slope- should speed traps/zones have a LB for each car class?

Whats so slippery about it? Imo they most definitely should have separate leaderboards, even drifting should have separate for class as well as drivetrain. Forza 4 had leaderboards for everything, circuit, drag, drift, painting, tunes, clubs, and overall time leaderboards. What does this game have like 11 total?

But your opinion does not represent that if the community as a whole. And frankly, your opinion makes no sense whatsoever to me.

To sum up what I mean, it is a lot easier to “drift” with awd than it is rwd. Because there are separate communities and views about whether awd drive is considered drifting or not, they could separate the leaderboards. You may still not agree and that’s fine but this is how I feel about it.

I edited it… I changed it to there should be leaderboards based on drivetrain. One for RWD and one for AWD

Idk how to specifically respond to someone. How do you?

Also the fact that only a select few of the cars can actually have tire lettering.

It wouldn’t even have to be a new leaderboard, I would love to see indicators on the current leaderboards for Stock/Modded and Engine/Drivetrain swaps, and maybe a filter. Then it would be up to me what counts as relevant.

I respect any high drift score but I respect one set in an S14 more due to its lack of an AWD swap. Drivetrain indicators would give something to the “purists” without taking anything away from the Ken Blocks and score-maxers.
