Skill Ratings. There are at least a dozen people on Reddit saying their skill rating is 4999. And it remains at 4999 even if they lose because they’re so good and win all the time. Yesterday I came in 2nd at Indy and my skill rating dropped 2 points. Please help explain this dichotomy.
I depends on who beats u, if all players have 4999 then even if u finish 3rd u will not lose rating (if overall u got high wind ratio) but if someone with 4000 rating wins vs u with 4999, your rating will drop significantly.
At one time for testing I was using only auto drive in race, and my rating did drop to 4000 (tho it took ages) while getting back 4999 took more or less 2 weeks of 8/7 racing.
And since at beginning I gained around 50 rating / race I won, I can imagine that oponents did lose rating quite fast.
One cannot control who they’re racing against. Not to mention the extreme unlikelihood that these 4999 people race other 4999 racers or only lose to 4999 racers. Is there anyone from turn10 here that can confirm these people are actually way into the 5000’s but the displayed number stops at 4999? Im beating people with much higher driver numbers and only gaining 4 skill rating points for winning a 14 person race. Yet these people claiming to be 4999 are still saying on Reddit that they lose and keep that rating. Meanwhile I lose 3 points for COMING IN SECOND!? Please someone official tell me they’re lying!!
