The game has steering settings for assisted/arcade/sim. I wish there would be more features the make cars work like in real life.
When you drive a car on too low gear, the game automatically slips your clutch and keeps your rpm at 4000rpm@5th gear@5mph until the engine magically starts working. I find it annoyingly unrealistic. I wish there actually was option for advanced realistic physics of cars that will only gimp your gameplay.
