Above each one, mention the make, model and type of car you’ve put the livery on.
Secondly, for those that search via file name. List that as well. But give us both, that way we can find them faster. Just a thought to help all of us…
Plus, if you’ve added any front sections, side skirts rear beaver kits etc, let us know what they are, in case it makes a difference if loaded on a plain body type…
There’s a few in there I’d grab straight away, and I always ‘like’ every livery and logo/layer group I DL… It’s my small way of giving back to the community.
Cheers mate was the first time I have won anything on here and now I am spending a little more time on them my work is getting a little better than before but still simple hopefully I can keep gettin better little by little
Yeah, there is some serious detail snuck into some of these. There are some stunning designs there, shows a real eye for shape and colour, very inspirational less really is more in this case. I’m deeply envious of your style dude!
Definitely agree with you there Herman… (Herman Munster lol)… These designs may look simplistic to the movies painter, or to those that just like nice colours and want a decent livery, but are blind to the minute detail that goes into the underlying paint job.
I’ve painted in real life, cars, bike (mainly choppers) vans, and Utes (Aussies call pickups Utes) etc, plus I do woodwork, (French polishing and refinishing), house painting with a pennant for specialty paint finishes. And one thing that all these have in common…
The PREPERSTION which goes into everything, is 80% of all things.
Just like these works, as that’s what makes a great paint job stand out from an average one that MIGHT look the same. But upon closer inspection, you see the differences.
Recently there was a Ken Block Hooligans paint on several of the Hotwheels Mustang. They all looked similar, but one stood out from the rest.
Not because it looked better, as the colouring, design, signage etc all was similar. But the one that really stood out had the fine details ironed out. It looked real.
Things that make a greats into are the fine details put into the logos, their placement, their size, the uniformity of them across the board.
Then there’s the base colour scheme. Sometimes there’s more put into the almost unseen design than making of the logos.
It’s all those things, rolled into something that from the outset, looks simple, but upon closer inspection, that’s where the real artist stands out.
The same goes for anything that is created. These are well thought out designs that by their pure simplicity they are excellent works of art.
I’d give these a solid (5) thumbs up - just keep them coming mate…
Yea man my skills are very very basic so far so baby steps for me the movie paints look insane but like you not my cup of tea haha a prefer the racer look not really into the drift look either prob because we mostly race in proper race cars on my website
