[RACE] Luthielle Paint - Hotwheels Ferrari Challenge Stradale 18/12 pg 3

Hello everyone,

I’m not a pro painter like plenty people here but still I like to spend some time in the paint shop. Usually I keep my designs for myself, I find them not very good enough to share. And mostly my cars have the nices paint taken from this forum.

Still I would like to present the “not-so-bad designs” I have

First the Elise in carbon paint :

I had also an Elise in FM4 painted by someone in the forum, sadly I don’t remember who, and I tried to reproduce the design from what I remember.

The sector Elise :

Also in black :

Don’t be ashamed to share what you make. Nobody has the right to criticize your creativity, do what makes you happy!

Looking like a pretty good start mate. Your paints will get better and better over time mate as long as you stick with it. I can’t wait to see what you come up with here. That being said some larger/higher quality pictures will certainly do you well. A close look would be much appreciated. Either way welcome to the painting forums and I hope you stick around.

Cheers, Ace

Thanks for the support Treewick and Ace.

As for the size of the pictures, it’s really strange. They’re all imported in flicker from my gallery on this site. And as you can see the first picture is large size, the others are the maximum allowed by flicker (original picture size).

Edit : found it, the manipulation to import the photo from my gallery is a bit different but works better now.

Looks much better mate, I hope to see more designs soon.

Good start there Luthielle, and great car choice too

Thank you AB.

It’s nice to get support from propainters.
I’m already on another project but it takes me ages to draw the logos

I’m a freak but i’ve been playing this since FM2 lol.
Dont worry about how long things take just take your time and you’ll soon be creating logos faster when you know the ins and outs of the editors shapes

Looking good Luthielle

always like a clean design. Keep up, and don’t be shy to share.
As for the car, is that the elise with the glitchy backbumper? if so nicely solved

Thanks OrenIshii.

The glitch is that the backbumper stay white (like in my carbon version) ?

That indeed annoyed me, so I’ve painted the back sector all white

Hey VR72, thanks for your nice comment. The link you provided is super useful, it give me plenty paint ideas  Or maybe not, I think I spend already too much time painting in forza. I’ve became addicted !

Speaking of addiction, here is a new paint :

Fun little car

Finished another car, the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 which races Le Mans in 1973. Finished 6th overall but first in division.

If you want a tune for the car, Drows24 made one for me in B Class, no aero and ferrari rims to preserve the replica.

All things aside, this is some good work!

nice paint Luthielle!

i remember that, done this myself back in the days of FM4 :stuck_out_tongue:

Dope work! I really like the last one in black! Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better than I at this lol. Half the time I just use manufacturer colors haha.

Charles Pozzi Ferrari is looking good mate. That being said, as someone who has painted it in both FM4 and FM5 I ought to point somethings out to you. The Thomson font actually has two different fonts, one is taller and thinner. Lastly the Ch. Pozzi logo on the rear bumper can stand to be a custom font. The in-game font isn’t squared off or thick enough. That being said, even as is it is a great replica and one that I won’t hesitate to download!

Thank you, I’m pleased with the result and it’s my first “hard” design, I’ve spend a lot of time on it, especially on the logos.

Thank you, I’m glad you appreciate it.

Thanks, it seems that everyone has already paint this car. Maybe a “rookie” car  Nice to have pointed the small mistakes in the replica. Even if I’ve spend 3 days searching all the pictures on the net, I didn’t noticed everything. I’ve enjoyed to paint the car. Now I have to find another project…

Love the Ferrari mate. Keep going and ask if you need help. Would love to see more in here.

The Lancia Beta Montecarlo from the Jolly Club Team. Raced at Mugello.

This car is glitchy, not easy to paint some body part. I’ve tried the martini stipes before but I gave up, so I choosed this livery instead.
