Hi!
The last Forza Motorsport game I played was Forza Motorsport 4, where I remember I had a great time racing against exactly the cars I wanted to race against, because you could choose for each AI driver what car to drive in a custom race. In FM7, however, I can’t find this option. It only lets me set options for all AI drivers together, like PP limits, and many things, but I can’t find a car selector for each individual AI.
What I mean is if I’d like to race all BMW M3s and the M4, and all the Mercedes C-class AMG cars in one race, I can’t because I can’t choose exact cars.
It was so much fun in FM4. Is there an option for this in FM7 or is this not included anymore? Quite a downgrade if it’s not!
Cheers
Alex
Not each separate car, but you can create your M3 vs M4 race with buckets.
Go to Setup / Race Setup / Advanced Rules and change “Number of Driver Buckets” to 2 or 3 or 4. For each bucket you can set the Division or specific model parameters and the number of cars in that bucket.
Thanks, didn’t know about the buckets! It’s still not as perfect as just being able to choose cars, but it’s something.
I often race all BMW M4’s etc or using the buckets and HP settings knock out the cars in a division I don’t want. If a division has 5 - 6 cars in it and a few of them are a lot higher in the HP you can stick with the division but by changing the HP to <= 1HP less than the target cars HP rating you knock out the top end offenders.
