Just purchased- need guidance on using FM7 in such a simple way. Can FM7 do this?

Thanks in advance guys. I am sure the way I intend to play pales in comparison to the feature set, capabilities… and how most play. Just wanted something to kill some time until the car can come back out in the spring. However, wanted to see if you guys could give me the simple answers and if this is possible.

-I only really plan to play offline… me vs computer (AI?)… and dont care about playing others online, career mode, etc.

  • I simply want access to all cars(and tracks) in stock form (don’t care about upgrades), and race other cars in stock form. Either one on one… or me vs multi car race. Possible?
  • is there an ability to specifically chose which car (or cars) that I want to race… where I can chose opponents By make and model? Or… will the game always chose cars for me based on what “class” of car I get in?

That’s it… pretty simple. Can this be done in free play or “rental cars”? Or not possible? Is there a limited set of cars and tracks in the free play or rental mode… or are all available?

Probably silly questions… however, I bought this damn game, and now it’s downloading a 33gb update…so haven’t been even to start the game up. 33 gig!!! are you kidding me?? I am an executive with a large tech firm, and would fire my head of development if this was the deployment and quality assurance plan, lord.

Anyway… thanks in advance for the help fellas.

Yes you rent all cars stock in Freeplay and drive all tracks.

Set Division to Any and this should give you stock cars when renting.

You can try your luck with extra Buckets in Freeplay, it used to work great but now can have issues, try it first and see how you go.

With multiple buckets, you are in bucket 1 (look through setting carefully) and you can then specify Make and Model for other buckets.

There is a lot to describe, but this should put you in the right direction.

You could also search this forum as this has been discussed quite a lot.

best bet would be under “free play”.

also, an executive that plays forza? awesome…

All you wishes no problem and you can do a lot more in F7.
